When Jennifer called, Noelle was on the hotel bed.

“No. I want to rest.”
“You said the same thing this afternoon,” Jennifer said with a laugh. “Ms. Swanson, I’m your guide. If you don’t let me do anything, I’ll feel like I’m failing at my job. I can’t really explain that to Mr. Freeman, either.”
Noelle bit her lip, then finally said, “Okay. Could you please bring me some painkillers?”
“Oh? Are you feeling unwell?”
“Menstrual cramps. Does that count?”
The phone was quickly hung up, and Noelle lay back down on the bed.
The room she was in now had been arranged by Hendrix.
They had changed to another hotel, a luxurious suite with a large bed. Standing by the window, she could take in the entire view of Sintrun.
However, Noelle had no mood to admire it. She lay on the bed for a while, and soon, Jennifer arrived.
Apart from some painkillers, she got soup as well.
“Sorry. I don’t know about your body conditions. What if I sleep here for the night? Then, I can take good care of you,” said Jennifer.
“It’s fine.” Noelle shook her hand. “I just have some stomach problems. Don’t need to be so worried.”
“It’s not me who’s worried,” Jennifer said with a laugh. “I’m just an employee, so of course, I have to help Mr. Freeman out.”
Her words caught Noelle off guard for a moment. Then, she let out a soft laugh. “You’ve got it wrong. Between him and me.”

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
