Although Rosie hadn't said much in the hospital, Noelle could clearly sense her excitement once they stepped outside the building.
She skipped and hopped all the way while holding onto Noelle's hand. Every now and then, she would turn to look at Noelle with a bright smile.
Noelle reached out and ruffled her hair. "What do you want to eat today?"
"I want the grilled chicken wings you make!"
"Alright! Then, let's go to the supermarket together, okay?"
Rosie nodded eagerly. "I want to ride in the cart!"
Noelle agreed.
Rosie had lost some weight recently, so sitting in the shopping cart wasn't a problem. Under the bright supermarket lights, her cheeks finally showed a hint of color.
Noelle felt a wave of relief. At this point, nothing else mattered to her other than Rosie's health.
"Mommy, Mommy! I want that!" said Rosie excitedly.
Rosie hadn't been to such a lively place in a while, so she was rightly excited. She started swinging her legs, trying to move the cart in the direction of the item she wanted.
Noelle had been checking the expiration date on a bottle of seasoning when the cart suddenly slipped away from her. Her face paled instantly as she reached out to grab it, but it was too late.
A woman's sharp scream pierced the air.
"I'm so sorry!" Noelle quickly pulled her cart back. "It's my fault for not watching her properly. Are you hurt?"
The woman, who had a strikingly beautiful face, was clearly furious. But perhaps because they were in a public place, she managed to suppress her anger, though she did say through gritted teeth, "If you bring a child out, you need to keep an eye on them!"

Like how the story is progressing now but why is the author only releasing 3 chapters at a time? this is torture😩😩...
Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
