Overlooking the city center of Crescentville, Mitchell paced back and forth on the expansive balcony of his luxurious apartment. His initial excitement gradually morphed into anxiety. “Wait, you sent out that many messages, and she hasn’t replied to a single one?” 

Around the open slate dining table, about ten staff members were on their phones, looking quite distressed. “Mr. Lopez, we followed your instructions and sent Ms. Nelson the prize information, but we haven’t received any replies…” 

“Could it be that Ms. Nelson hasn’t seen them?” 

“That shouldn’t be the case. We started sending messages intermittently yesterday afternoon. Even if she missed them yesterday, she should’ve seen them by today.” 

Mitchell’s friend Slade lounged on an artistic sofa, shaking his head as he watched Mitchell work himself up over such a trivial matter. “If Mitchell put this much effort into picking up women, I bet there wouldn’t be a single woman in Crescentville who could escape his grasp.” 

“Quit with the nonsense,” Mitchell replied irritably, too preoccupied to joke around with Slade. “Do you think she just doesn’t care about these things?” 

Slade, taking it seriously, analyzed the situation with him, nodding in agreement. “It’s possible. Since she’s with Mr. Lopez, she’s probably not lacking for anything.” 

Hearing “Mr. Lopez” made a hint of displeasure cross Mitchell’s face. “Walter is Walter, and I’m me. Buying gifts for my sister has nothing to do with him!” If it weren’t for Walter being in the way, would I have to be so constrained about giving Shakira gifts? 

Slade, understanding Mitchell’s mindset, knew he was getting worked up but wasn’t about to reason with him. “Then give her something special, something meaningful. Wasn’t she part of a racing team? Get her a racing motorcycle.” 

As soon as Slade finished speaking, Mitchell barked orders at the staff, “Hurry up and find out which motorcycle is the best.” Slade thought, ‘Mitchell has really lost it!‘ 

“This time, don’t send a text. Call her directly! Yes, just call her!” Mitchell was running out of

“I’ll be fine after a few days of rest.” Walter glanced at her meaningfully. When Levi approached, he casually instructed, “Have the kitchen prepare some nourishing food in the next few days.” After a moment’s pause, he recalled reading online that women often experience discomfort during their periods due to insufficient energy and added. “Make sure it’s something to replenish her energy.” 

‘Replenish energy?!‘ Levi immediately looked at Shakira with a newfound respect, his gaze shifting from tender affection to sheer excitement. “Got it! I’ll tell the kitchen to take good care of Ms. Nelson’s needs. By the way, the young master needs some replenishing too; your voice is hoarse.” Levi’s hands trembled slightly in his excitement. ‘Surely Mr. and Mrs. Lopez are watching over them from above.
