Chapter 200
Shakira’s eyes were misty and dreamy. Hearing Walter’s words, she lifted her head in a daze. Looking at Walter’s captivatingly handsome face, she seemed to think seriously for moment before replying. “I remember everything.”
Walter nodded with satisfaction and said, “Okay.” Then, he just stared at Shakira steadily, providing a clear hint.
Shakira almost laughed out loud. She had a mischievous idea and wanted to tease Walter. Her eyes twinkled with mischief as she blinked and innocently asked, “So I have to bribe you with what I learned last night?”
Walter let out a soft “Hmm” from his throat. Shakira laughed to herself even more and said, “Alright then…” Her voice softened as she lifted her body, inching toward Walter’s perfectly shaped lips.
Walter glanced down slightly, watching Shakira intently. Almost unconsciously, he leaned forward, making it easier for her to move closer.
However, just as Shakira was about an inch away, she suddenly braked. “No way, Mr. Lopez is a man of his word, honest and uncompromising. How can I ruin your lifelong good name? This kind of thing. I won’t… mmph!
Shakira hadn’t even finished her words when Walter realized he had been tricked. He was embarrassed and angry, pressed the back of Shakira’s head with his large hand, and delivered a hard kiss.
Struggling to catch her breath and keep up the pace, all Shakira could do was regretfully cry out to the sky…
Not far behind, Sean saw Shakira’s Cullinan drive into Eastlake Valley Estate. He frowned in confusion and thought, ‘Could it be that Shakira had already moved into the villa?
‘But why doesn’t she tell me? If I had known she was living there, I would have gotten a nanny to take care of her!
Xanthe, who hadn’t spoken a word during the whole trip, was very anxious. As they got closer to the villa, her heart felt like it was in her throat. Suddenly, she had a bright idea and said, “Ah!”
She suddenly bent over, holding her stomach. Sean, who had been lost in thought, was startled by Xanthe’s sudden action and quickly slowed down the car. “What’s wrong with you?”
Xanthe groaned with her body bent over. “I have a stomachache” Sean’s expression changed. “Are you going to…”
Xanthe said, “Probably…”
“Oh, come on! Don’t do it here… Ugh, what a hassle. Just hold on I’ll take you to the shopping mall outside!” Seeing Xanthe’s pained expression, Sean was frightened.
He didn’t continue following Shakira. Instead, he quickly turned the wheel, made a turn, and drove out of the neighborhood toward the nearby shopping center.
Bending down and secretly watching outside from the corner of her eye, Xanthe breathed a sigh of relief. She had been complaining for quite a while when Sean finally parked the car in the underground parking lot.
Upon hearing the door slam shut, Xanthe immediately dropped her act.
She was thinking of finding an excuse to slip away when, out of nowhere, Sean came around, opened the passenger and without saying a word, unbuckled her seatbelt, lifting her up in a princess carry.
Xanthe was so surprised by Sean’s smooth and uninterrupted actions that she forgot to react.

As Xanthe raised her head, she was completely dazed. Absent–mindedly gripping Sean’s shoulder, Xanthe’s already bright eyes widened. “Why… Why are you carrying me?”
Sean was at a loss for words. “You can’t help it, can you? If you walk, won’t you be in more of a rush?” With that, he kicked the door shut, spotted the entrance sign, and quickly carried Xanthe onto the escalator.
By the time Sean carried Xanthe to the ladies‘ restroom door, Xanthe was still a bit flustered. Sean waved his hand in front of Xanthe, looking panicked. “Don’t tell me you’ve already…”
“No way!” Xanthe immediately glared at Sean, then realized people were watching her. “I’m going in now!” She said, quickly ducked her head and rushed inside.
Sean scratched his head with a slightly embarrassed expression but sighed with relief. “Looks like it was really urgent. It’s a good thing I was fast.” Otherwise, he would have lost both his car
Xanthe hid for about ten minutes before leisurely coming out. She assumed Sean would have left by now, but to her surprise, Sean was still waiting in the family lounge area.
Sean was looking down at his phone when he casually glanced up and noticed Xanthe staring at him. He stood up and walked towards Xanthe with long strides.
“Are you still not feeling well?” Sean asked, noticing Xanthe’s odd expression. “Do you want to go to the hospital?”
O
“Oh, I’m fine… Uh, thank you.” Xanthe rarely thanked anyone. She felt a bit awkward after expressing gratitude to Sean.
“No problem, I just didn’t want you to shit in my car,” Sean replied bluntly.
“Oh…” In an instant, any awkwardness Xanthe felt disappeared entirely.
“Since you’re okay, let’s go. Are you getting a cab back?” asked Sean. Xanthe glanced around and said, “Maybe later. I want to see if there’s something good to eat here. I’m starving.”
“Alright.” Sean nodded and without saying another word, turned and headed out.

Watching Sean walk away without looking back, Xanthe couldn’t help but chuckle. “He’s kind of nice, waiting for me to finish up before leaving.”
Sean hadn’t gone far when his phone started buzzing again with notifications. With no other option, he answered the call. “Mom, what’s up now? I’m busy.”
Eve immediately said, “I just called your company. You didn’t show up today. What are you busy with?”
