Just as he imagined, the sauce was sweet and sour. Walter gave a mischievous smile and said, “Seeing something tastier, I’m not interested in the ordinary food.”
Shakira was so startled by his satisfied expression that she dropped her fried Coke. When she snapped back to re quickly pulled her hand back. There was a tingly warmth on the pad of her finger where he had nibbled.

Shakira instinctively looked ahead at Brian, but Brian had already quickly pulled up the partition. Shakira felt helpless, fearing Walter would do something to her. She hurriedly changed the subject, “Why did you suddenly invest in a variety show?”
Walter answered her question with another question, “What do you think?”
As Shakira put another piece of fried Coke into her mouth, she felt happy. “Could it be because of me?”
Walter tapped her nose gently, “I’ll allow you to be a little self–centered for once.”
“You didn’t have to do this.” Shakira blinked her innocent eyes, already knowing his answer.
Walter said casually, “The entertainment industry is complicated, different from college. There are a lot of things you can’t expect. Kevin can be trusted, but-” He turned to her, his deep eyes gazing at her.
After confessing his feelings, he was used to being honest, “I’m afraid you might get hurt.”
Shakira burst into laughter, “Who would dare?”
“Come on, did you already forget what just happened?” Walter immediately brought up Liam as an example, with clear reasoning.
Shakira opened her mouth but didn’t know how to refute him, scratching her cheek. “Well, that was an accident. But even if you weren’t there, I wouldn’t be at a disadvantage.”
She paused and glanced at him, feeling a bit helpless. “You didn’t have to defend me in such a hurry. After all, Liam is quite valued in the Banks Group. If I wanted to teach him a lesson, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve.”
Shakira thought, ‘For example, I had already planned to lure Liam to a deserted place after the dinner, give him a good beating, and make him cry for forgiveness.
Unfortunately, even though she had a plan, Walter didn’t give her a chance.
Walter picked up on her concerns. “Don’t worry. I never looked at Banks Group as anything at all.”
“Yeah, right, you fear nothing, so they’re no big deal. That’s why had the nerve to be so arrogant,” said Shakira.
It was because Shakira knew Walter’s intentions that she didn’t let him off easily. Since Liam dared to make use of his power to insult Shakira in front of people, there must be a lot of girls who have been harmed by him in other entertainment.
People like Liam had to be taught a hard lesson, only then would he be restrained later.
Walter always enjoyed her flattery. His charming, thin lips curved into a smile, looking quite pleased. He leaned back against the leather seat and suddenly raised his hand to beckon her.
After all these days with him, she could tell what he would want to do next by his little moves. Shakira giggled and leaned forward, giving him a loud kiss on the lips.
“It’s your reward,” she said with a playful grin and then noticed his suddenly dark expression. She giggled again and pretended to be surprised, “Oh no, I forgot I ate a lot and got oil on my lips.”

There came a scuffling noise from the back seat of the car. Brian, sitting in the driver’s seat, thought, ‘It seems that a partition wasn’t enough. Should I change to a soundproofed one?
Fiona accompanied Jaslene in choosing the latest clothes in a luxury fashion store. Jaslene watched Fiona with eyes full of admiration and love, “My granddaughter is beautiful. You look good in everything.”
The salesgirls echoed with compliments. Fiona pouted as she was about to try on the next outfit. But her phone rang from nearby.
A salesgirl respectfully handed over the phone and drew the curtain to help Fiona change. Fiona answered the call, “Hi, Liam?”
When the salesgirl was bending down to help Fiona take off her high heels, she was kicked away by Fiona. Fiona’s face twisted with rage, her expression cold. “What? For Shakira, Walter had Liam slap himself in public for a whole five minutes?” “Bitch! How dare she make Banks Group’s CEO lose face like this? She’s asking for trouble.” said Fiona glowering.
Jaslene heard Fiona’s voice and had the curtains open. She frowned when she saw the salesgirl sprawled on the floor with a bruise forming on her face.
“Who are you mad at?” asked Jaslene.
Fiona threw her phone away and paced back and forth angrily with her hands on her hips. “Shakira, Shakira! Why doesn’t she just die already?”
“Fiona,” Jaslene gently scolded, “This isn’t at home, mind your words.”
Fiona was still fuming, but when she met Jaslene’s commanding gaze, Fiona let out a heavy sigh.
Jaslene stepped forward, gently brushing her curly hair back from her chest, and said quietly, “If someone’s annoying, just find any excuse to send them away. You’re the treasure of the Banks family. It’s not worth getting upset over a poor servant.
