Chapter 245
When Shakira returned to the Eastlake Valley Estate, Levi had carefully organized everything and was waiting for her to join them. Walter had asked Veiled Vine to deliver two pieces of roasted beefsteaks to feed Shakira on the way.
Because of Walter’s special status, the airline manager personally greeted them at the airport parking lot. They took a small vehicle through a private passage, breezing through security in less than 15 minutes to reach the VIP lounge.
The entire lounge was surrounded by two groups of security. Odier VIP passengers thought that someone important had come to the airport, so they all began taking photos and videos to post online.
With security personnel surrounding them, they discreetly entered the innermost luxurious suite. It was Shakira’s first time discovering this exclusive area–a perfectly formed mini top–tier club room.
There were wall–to–wall wine racks and an oversized smart screen seamlessly built into the wall, which could also show a view of the room behind.
The screen offered service options like a private cinema, virtual meetings, luxury shopping with models trying on designer brands, live cooking by a Michelin chef, and so on. Everything was extravagant here.
Someone said, “Oh, is this Ms. Nelson’s first time here?” Only then did Shakira notice a few people sitting on the leather sofa in the corner of the suite.
She thought, ‘It makes sense that Benji is here, but what are Kyle, Calton, and Gavin doing here?‘
Shakira blinked, curiously turned to Walter, and asked, “Will their annual parties be held at Silverwave Bay too?”
Gavin chuckled. He answered Shakira with a charming smile, “Our own annual parties can’t be as entertaining as Lopez Group’s.”
Shakira was puzzled.
Calton grinned mischievously and said, “Lopez Group’s annual party guarantees at least 3,000 in cash as a prize, and the grand prize is a property in any neighborhood of Crescentville, fully renovated, no limit.
“How can we miss such a great chance to benefit from Lopez Group?”
Shakira was stunned.
Kyle candidly said, “Walter hasn’t traveled out of state for a long time, and we’re a little worried.”
Shakira nodded. “I see. But I still feel what they said was true.”
They all burst into laughter.
Gavin chimed in, “There’s still a bit of time before boarding, and the Michelin chef here is quite good. Ms. Nelson, you should try it.”
Shakira caressed her stomach with a little regret and said, “I’ve eaten roasted beefsteak on the way here.”
Calton gasped in disbelief and blurted out, “Wait, you ate on the way? Did you eat them in Walter’s car?”
Shakira nodded. “Yeah.”
Seeing her casual expression, Calton was stunned. In the end, he gave Shakira a thumbs up. They were quite close, and they all knew about Walter’s rules.
His obsession with cleanliness was extreme. Taking his car was already a challenge, not to mention eating there.

Chapter 215
O
They knew Waler had rarely fallen in love, but they didn’t expect him to change so drastically. The woman who could tame Walter truly deserved their admiration.
Shakira pretended to give Walter a reproachful glance as if she were saying. If I had known there was a great chef here, those pigeons could’ve waited till we got back
Walter bluntly dismissed her thought. The chef was a foreigner is food doesn’t fit your taste.
Shakira immediately gave up. “Alright, pigeons are still the best
Walter raised an eyebrow and said with a playful smile. Just the pigeons?”
Shakira gave Walter several playful pats on the shoulders, trying to flatter him. “You’re better than those pigeons!”
Walter slightly narrowed his eyes, clearly enjoying the compliment.
Just then, Walter’s phone rang. He moved aside to take the call. Shakira took the opportunity to check her phone and quickly sent a message.
She checked the time and said, “There’s still half an hour before boarding. I’m stepping out to grab something and will be right back.”
After telling Brian, she rushed out quickly
Everything happened so fast. Calton turned to Gavin and asked in confusion, “I’m sorry, were they showing off just now?”
With a knowing look, Gavin nodded. “Yes, they showed off in front of us and then left.”
Calton said, “Holy shit! I never thought I’d have a chance to see Walter showing off his affection. Life is dramatic indeed!”
Benji wagged his finger and said, “Oh, this is just the start. You’ll see a lot afterward.”
Calton said, “Alright, I can’t wait to see what else will completely amaze me!”
Calton was absolutely thrilled, eager to see how Walter would show off his relationship.
When Walter finished his call and came back, the airline manager came over to announce boarding. That was when he noticed Shakira was missing, and Brian quickly explained why.
Walter frowned, and his expression instantly turned cold. He said, “Why didn’t you follow her? What if she was stopped and couldn’t get in?”
Then he called Shakira. To his surprise, the line was busy.
Walter tried calling three times with a blank expression but didn’t get through.
Brian immediately lowered his head, feeling regretful now. “I’ll go find her right away.”
Kyle said, “I’ll go.”
He stood up willingly. “Airport management is strict. I have a security pass, so it’s easier for me. You guys board the plane first. Don’t miss it.”
The airline manager quickly joined in, “Are you talking about the lady who arrived with Mr. Lopez? I’ll have the ground st look for her!”
Walter’s expression was sullen. He said, “Sure.”
Since Shakira disappeared, Walter’s face was so sullen that no one dared to speak to him casually,

The airline manager was too scared to even breathe, fearing that one mistake could offend these distinguished guests and ruin his career.

They were the first to board the plane and sit in the VIP cabin. The manager personally prepared slippers, towels, and other amenities, drew the curtain, and gently reminded them, “We’ll shirt boarding passengers in three minutes, so it might get a bit noisy.
Seeing how frightened the manager was, Calton kindly replied, “We know. Thank you.”
