Chapter 246
The flight attendant, who had been planning to take this seat after takeoff, flushed under Berry’s disdainful gaze but could only nod in agreement. Walter frowned immediately, but before he could speak, Calton, seated opposite, stood up first.
This playboy showed a charming and mischievous smile to the flustered flight attendant thoughtfully. His beautiful eyes stunned her. He said, “No rush to change seats”
After flirting with the beautiful flight attendant, Calton leisurely furned to Berry. This time, his seemingly gentle smile turned a little sullen.
People who weren’t familiar with him all thought he was easygoing, but actually, Calton was not someone to be trifled with.
Last time, Berry used him to find out about Walter’s whereabouts, and Calton remembered her for it. Calton glanced at Walter to check his reaction and noticed his annoyed expression at Berry’s presumptuousness. Feeling assured, Calton decided to take action.
Berry was still looking down on Calton for flirting with the flight attendant. When he suddenly turned to her, she hadn’t changed her expression yet, so she quickly looked away.
Just thinking about how Calton had deliberately lost a game and made her vomit all night last time made her frightened.
Calton sneered and said, “Ms. White, since you’re kinda related to Kyle, you should know that people like us don’t usually fly commercial.”
Not sure what he was planning, Berry cautiously thought before nodding. “I know, which is why I’m so surprised to see you all here.”
As she spoke, she shot another intense glance at Walter. “Especially you, Mr. Lopez.
“Actually, I planned to book first class too, but I found that all the seats were sold out, so I settled for regular. I never expected to run into you guys. It’s such a small world.”
The flight attendant murmured softly, “But we still have two first–class seats available. You can upgrade…”
Hearing this, Berry felt really embarrassed. The truth was, this trip to the Silverwave Bay was a vacation for Yvette’s family, and she had just tagged along for fun.
But Yvette didn’t buy her a ticket, and Berry’s parents said it was a waste of money and suggested she stay home. So, Berry used her allowance to buy a ticket and chose the night flight because it was cheaper.
But she quickly calmed down and said casually, “Really? I didn’t notice when I booked it. Anyway, since I’ve switched my seat, it doesn’t matter anymore.”
Calton chuckled and reminded her, “Not yet, Ms. White. You’re getting ahead of yourself.”
Berry frowned, growing more annoyed with Calton. She thought ‘How can the future heir of the Calton family be so petty just because I tricked him once? Could he even handle the Calton family’s business for long with that attitude?
‘After I start dating Mr. Lopez, I’ll definitely warn him to stay away from such a narrow–minded brat!‘
Seeing Berry keeping silent, Calton raised an eyebrow, crossed his arms, and continued, “People like us with private jets showed up here at night. Do you know why?”
Calton looked at her confused expression and shot her a sarcastic grin.
He said, “Because Mr. Lopez was waiting for his girlfriend to finish work. And now it’s too late to allow private planes to get into Silverwave Bay’s airspace, so he has to take a passenger plane with us.”

Calton deliberately said that word by word. He enjoyed watching Berry’s expression shift from a shocked one to an embarrassed and jealous one. He couldn’t be more satisfied.
The flight attendant suddenly realized and said, “So the empty seat next to this gentleman is for his girlfriend? I’m sorry, the airline keeps first–class passenger information confidential, so we don’t know exactly how many will be flying.”
After that, she gave Berry a subtle glance.
Berry’s smile instantly froze. When Calton said that, a name appeared in her mind.
Shakira!
She thought, ‘Mr. Lopez gave up taking his private jet just to wait for Shakira?
Are you kidding me?!”
Berry couldn’t believe it, thinking Calton was playing tricks on her out of spite. She said, “No way. The plane’s about to take off, and no one else has boarded…”
A voice suddenly sounded, “Sorry, I’m back!”
Before Berry finished her sentence, Shakira rushed in while panting with a big bag on her body. Kyle got in right behind her.
Kyle nodded at Walter. “I’ve brought her back.”
Walter responded briefly, “Thanks.”
Shakira stuck out her tongue.
