After Cecilia’s statement, Jonathan remained in a daze for quite some time until Christopher spoke up. 

“Mr. Yancey, it’s working hours now. You should head to your job.” 

Jonathan snapped back to reality, his gaze filled with 

astonishment as he looked at Cecilia. “You want me to clean the restrooms?” 

He had assumed Cecilia was having him sign a typical contract to become a low–level employee, something that would be fodder for gossip in the aristocratic circle. 

He never expected she would actually ask him to clean the 

restrooms. 

Cecilia smirked and nodded. “Well, you and the restrooms seem like a perfect match.” 

She still remembered how the Yancey family had treated her with disdain when they had asked her to be a blood donor for Juliana while she was working in the fields. 

Jonathan had even remarked that being a street sweeper was a more respectable job than farming. 

Now that he was tasked with restroom cleaning, he was likely experiencing some poetic justice. 

Jonathan glared at Cecilia, who wore a mischievous grin, and ground his teeth. 

“I’ll pay the penalty and resign!” 

Cecilia waved the employment contract she held in her hand. 

“Okay, 1 billion dollars in penalty then.” 

The contract was crystal clear. Jonathan could not quit or take leave. If he breached the contract, the money Cecilia had used

Upon hearing this, Jonathan’s eyes almost popped out of his head. 

“You set me up!” 

“Weren’t all these terms agreed upon during our phone call yesterday?” 

Cecilia’s retort left Jonathan speechless. 

Seeing him remain silent, Cecilia teasingly asked, “So, it’s restroom cleaning or breaching the contract? Have you made your choice?” 

Jonathan did not have much choice and managed to grind out the words through gritted teeth. 

“Restroom! Cleaning!” 

Afterward, he picked up the box containing his personal items from his office desk and stormed off in frustration. 

Cecilia called out to his retreating figure and said, “Once you report to the logistics department, make your way to the conference room.” 

“Understood.” 

After Jonathan left, Cecilia notified the company’s senior management and shareholders to have a meeting in the conference room. 

The matter of changing the chairman at Yancey Corporation had been communicated by Jonathan the previous day, and both the management and shareholders had arrived early. 

Upon hearing about the meeting, they hurried to the conference room. 

Yancey Corporation had been on the verge of collapse for a long time, and their hearts had been heavy with the fear of the company’s bankruptcy.

After Jonathan’s explanation, the management team had a clear understanding of Yancey Corporation’s status. 

They nodded to Cecilia, indicating their confidence in taking over Yancey Corporation. 

Cecilia received their signal and waved her hand dismissively to Jonathan. “You have nothing more to do here. It’s time to clean the restrooms.” 

Jonathan knew she was doing this on purpose and had anticipated this outcome; however, it was still embarrassing. 

As stifled laughter erupted, he immediately turned and left. 

The HR director, unable to contain himself, burst into laughter. 

“Who would have thought the day would come when Mr. Yancey has to clean restrooms? Hahaha…” 

As he said this, he cast a look of admiration toward Cecilia. 

He had been eagerly awaiting the day Cecilia would turn the tables and strike back at the Yancey family, especially given the terrible things they had done to her. Much to his surprise, he had the opportunity to witness it firsthand, which he found incredibly satisfying.
