Cecilia did not answer Christopher’s question. 

Instead, she changed the subject and replied, “Let’s investigate the clues we have so far first.” 

Knowing that the topic of the Shaw family might involve confidential matters, Christopher didn’t probe further. 

He looked at the exhausted–looking Cecilia and caressed her head gently. 

“Go back to sleep. I’ll investigate.” 

Though Cecilia was genuinely worn out, she shook her head, “We’ll do it together. It’s faster this way.” 

With that, she took a gander at the desk and asked, “Do you have a spare computer?” 

“There’s one in the lounge. I’ll get it.” 

Christopher went to the lounge and took out a spare laptop. After unlocking it, he handed it over to Cecilia. 

“What do you plan to do with those two men?” 

Cecilia thought for a moment before responding, “Treat their injuries, and then let them go.” 

Christopher nodded in agreement. “I’ll make arrangements 

now.” 

Letting them go was more useful than sending them to the police station. 

That was because the mastermind would never allow them to live.

After Christopher left, Cecilia didn’t immediately look into the clues but called the police headquarters.

immediately told his subordinate to send her the investigation 

file. 

In fact, the reassignment document was also received by Acocester Police Headquarters and Jacaster Police 

Headquarters.
