Because Fiona was found with Christopher’s help, the police told Cecilia about Fiona’s actual condition on account of the 

man. 

Cecilia was astounded upon learning the truth. 

The moment Yvette received Fiona’s nudes, Cecilia had guessed that something would happen to Fiona. 

Still, her heart felt like it had been stabbed after she heard about Fiona’s injuries. 

Christopher got up and walked to the emotional Cecilia, holding her in his arms. 

“Ceci, don’t blame yourself. What happened to Fiona has nothing to do with you.” 

In his opinion, Fiona was the one who was too careless to have fallen into the mastermind’s trap. It had nothing to do with Cecilia. 

Cecilia nodded and temporarily put Fiona to the back of her mind, resuming the investigation of the clues with 

Christopher. 

Both of them were very focused, and before they knew it, night fell.

The blood red mole at the corner of his eye seemed to become even more radiant, tugging at her heartstrings. The man stood up and walked to Cecilia with his hand outstretched. “Come on. Let’s go downstairs for dinner” They had sat before computers for half a day, so they needed to go outside and give their eyes a break. 

Speaking of eating, Cecilia started feeling hungry. 

She put her hand in Christopher’s large palm and borrowed. his strength to get up. 

“All right. I’m indeed a little hungry now.” 

The couple headed to the previous private room and ordered several dishes. 

While waiting for the food, Christopher said, “Fiona has woken up. She doesn’t blame you.”

Since this result was within their expectations, they weren’t too disappointed. 

After dinner, Cecilia proposed to visit Fiona in the hospital. 

“It’s not convenient for you to visit her, so you should go back to Emerald Mansion first. There’s no need to worry. I have people protecting me.” 

Christopher disagreed, “I’ll go to the hospital with you and wait in the parking lot.”
