The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 4204

Chapter 4204

She knew that the situation gave her an advantage, but it was hard to tell if any accidents would happen if the battle continued. The best thing she could do was let Princess Dorothy escape while the enemy was confused.

The blow seemed light and airy but contained impossible power. Princess Dorothy did not even manage to respond when she was swept away by a huge force that sailed her into the air.

"Thank you, Lute Belle," Princess Dorothy shouted in gratitude even though she was already a thousand meters away when she finished her sentence.

Princess Dorothy knew that Lute's actions were done with her own safety in mind.

Lute made sure that Princess Dorothy had left before ducking into the battlefield once again.

F*ck!

At the sight, Archfiend Antigonus flared up in rage. He would have never guessed that Lute would use such a method to send Princess Dorothy away.

Archfiend Antigonus wanted nothing more than to follow her. However, Jade Immortal held him down, and there was no way for him to get out at all. In the heat of the moment, he called out to Grunt, "What are you doing just standing there, Oliver? Seize that girl. Don't even think of coming back to see me if you fail." 1

"Yes, Honorable Archfiend." Grunt turned with a jerk to acknowledge the order before soaring in the direction Princess Dorothy had flown to.

Meanwhile, over at where Princess Dorothy was.

After she had flown for a few minutes, Princess Dorothy finally landed on the ground.

Princess Dorothy felt overwhelmed and touched.

Lute sure was strong; she had sent her away with just one blow.

Princess Dorothy was also slightly worried.

Would Jade Immortal and Lute Belle be able to get themselves out of that situation? After all, they had to go against Archfiend Antigonus and his twelve Fiend Martyrs.

The only thing she could do was to wait and see how things played out and go one step at a time. There was no way she could help with the situation anyway-returning might cause further trouble.

As she pondered that, Princess Dorothy put the Emerald Sky Pearl, the Rainbow Amulet, and the jade bottle containing the curious flame away for safekeeping before walking forward. Princess Dorothy did not have a single clue where she was, but she knew that she had to get as far away as possible lest the fiends found her.

However, she did not realize that a few hundred meters behind her, a figure had landed on the ground silently.

His gaze had an unreadable glint, and his expression shone sinisterly.

It was Grunt. 1

He thanked the heavens that he did not lose her.

As he landed, Grunt felt torn and overwhelmed at the sight of Princess Dorothy not far ahead of him as he followed closely behind her.

A while later, Princess Dorothy stopped at the edge of a cliff.

Clouds surrounded the cliff, and it seemed bottomless. One wrong step would result in one's death for sure.

Princess Dorothy would not have feared the sight at all had she encountered it in the past, for she could just have soared over the cliff with ease. However, she had lost her fairy soul and had no way of doing that again.

Oh, no!

As she stared at the steep edge beneath her feet, Princess Dorothy was overwhelmed with panic and a strong urge to cry.

It had taken so much to remove herself from the danger she had been in, and then there was a cliff in her way. Princess Dorothy could no longer hold it in as tears streamed down her face as she wept.

"Father, Mother, how I miss you. How I wish to return to your side..."

Ever since Archfiend Antigonus had captured her, Princess Dorothy had run into her fair share of pain and suffering. She had handled them with nothing but strong, determined will, but she had reached her breaking point.
