Chapter 161 Unexpected Encounter With Turner
Lucy sneered and said, “Glad you know what to do. The rest is your problem now
Elmer forced a smile until he finally saw Lucy, the walking disaster, out of his office. Only then did his face darken
ind known she’d be this much trouble, I would’ve never taken Harry’s money to try and expet her under the guise of her misconduct, he thought.
However, he never quessed that Hany would later change his mind and say there was no need to expel Lucy. But that one incident was enough for Lucy to cling to him like a shadow he couldn’t shake off
Lucy somehow uncovered every dirty secret about Elmer keeping femate students as mistresses
From that day forward, Lucy held him firmly in her grasp. Any time he dared to defy her, she’d use that dirt to threaten him Elmer deeply regretted his choices.
Not even half an hour after Lucy left, someone stormed into the principals office to report that Lucy had gotten into a fight in the cafeteria.
Elmer stared at the three disheveled girls on the receiving end of Lucy’s wrath.
Already in a foul mood, he slammed his desk with a loud bang, his fury spilling over as he unleashed a firards so fierce that his spit flew everywhere, almost like he was trying to drown them in his rage.
The three girls stood there, stunned, their faces a mix of frustration and disbelief. Tears welled up in their eyes. They couldn’t understand how they went from being the victims to the ones being yelled at.
Lucy was in a bad mood, and it felt like everyone at school was getting on her nerves. She left the campus, hoping the fresh air would help clear her head.
Just then, a sleek motorcycle screeched to a halt right in front of her.
The rider, dressed in a black riding suit, had long legs planted firmly on the ground, exuding effortless coolness.
He pulled off his helmet, casually ruffling his messy hair. His face was strikingly handsome with a hint of playful arrogance. It lit up with a grin. “Lucy,” he called out.
Lucy shot Daniel a bored look. “What now?”
Daniel had originally planned to follow his father’s orders and bring Lucy home. But halfway there, a friend called, inviting him to a motorcycle race and specifically mentioning that Patricia Yabsley would be attending.
Patricia was his ex–girlfriend who had dumped him not long ago. Her rejection had left him in a sour mood, leading to a night of heavy drinking and venting his frustrations to Lucy.
Truth be told, Daniel didn’t care much for Patricia. But being dumped by a woman had bruised his ego, and he couldn’t shake the feeling of humiliation. He was determined to regain some dignity.
An idea suddenly crossed his mind. He figured bringing Lucy along might throw Patricia off balance and help him regain some of his pride. Without wasting a moment, he quickly told Lucy about his plan.
Lucy, however, had zero interest in racing. “Not interested,” she said flatly, turning to leave.
Daniel hurriedly said, “Lucy, what would it take for you to come with me?”
Lucy paused and said, “Money.”
She couldn’t touch the 300 thousand dollars from Turner, so she had to find other ways to make money. And Daniel, fortunately, was never short on cash.
Hearing her demand, Daniel smirked. “Name your price, Lucy.”
“How much are you offering?” Lucy asked.
“That depends on how well you perform. If you agree to play the role of my girlfriend today, how about 30 thousand dollars?” Daniel said.
’30 thousand dollars for a day?‘ Lucy didn’t even blink before saying yes.
She grabbed the helmet Daniel handed her and strapped it on. Then, with ease, she climbed onto the motorcycle, sitting behind him. Her arms naturally wrapped around his waist.

“Hold on tight, Lucy,” he said with a smirk. With a slight twist of the throttle, the engine growled like a predator, ready to tear down the road. Then they sped off toward Eastville.

Chapter 161 Unexpected Encounter With Turner
Eastville was nearly deserted due to plans for a new development project. The roads here were wide, flat, and empty it was like this place was made for racing.
When Daniel arrived with Lucy, the starting line was packed with people. Almost all of them were men, except for one striking young woman, Patricia, in her twenties, who stood out.
She wore a white dress, her long, curly hair cascading down her back, and her subtle makeup gave her an effortlessly pure and delicate vibe. Amidst the group of men, she stood out like a graceful flower
The moment Lucy saw her, disgust bubbled up inside her. It wasn’t anything Patricia had done. It was her appearance and demeanor, so eerily similar to Agnes.
She might look all sweet and innocent, but Lucy wasn’t fooled. Behind that act was a heart as venomous as a snake’s Agnes had ruined Camila’s life, and Lucy had no patience for women like her.
As Lucy stepped out of the car, two men quickly jogged over to greet her
“Lucy!”
“Lucy’s here!”
Lucy vaguely remembered these two guys. They were Daniel’s friends. Once, they tried to corner her in a restroom to teach her a lesson, but she stabbed one with a knife. Later, she smashed a bottle over the other’s head in a bar fight.
She didn’t know their names, but she’d never forget their faces.
Lucy let out a quiet hum, her face as cold as ever. Her distant demeanor immediately caught the attention of a nearby group.
They began sizing her up, taking in her simple outfit–a white shirt, jeans, and sneakers. She looked like a college student who hadn’t quite entered the real world yet.
“Whoa, is this Daniel’s new girl? Is she still in college or what?” one of the men teased, his tone dripping with mockery. Another guy joined in, smirking as he added, “Hey, girl, don’t let Daniel’s serious act fool you. He’s not as innocent as he looks.”
Those men burst into laughter instantly.
Patricia, in the white dress, kept her gaze fixed on Lucy, her eyes brimming with hostility.
Lucy noticed animosity in her stare, but she didn’t care. She also ignored the men’s jeers entirely.
Her cold indifference only made the group even more annoyed.
“Hey, gorgeous, how about a little introduction?” Johnny spoke casually, chewing gum as he pulled the girl in the white dress into his arms. His gaze, full of provocation, landed squarely on Daniel.
Daniel clenched his teeth, his eyes blazing with fury. ‘Patricia is unbelievable–dumping me one moment and throwing herself into the arms of my sworn enemy the next.‘
He stepped forward, positioning himself firmly in front of Lucy, his stance protective and unyielding. “Just race already. Cut the crap.”
Seeing Daniel defend Lucy, Johnny seemed even more entertained, as if he’d stumbled upon an amusing game. “Sure, we’ll race. But this time, let’s spice things up.”
Daniel frowned, his tone sharp with suspicion. “What do you mean by that?”
Johnny smirked, his eyes glinting with mischief as they shifted to Lucy. “This time, we each take a woman as our
passenger. If I lose, I’ll give you my woman. If you lose, you give me yours. Deal?”
Daniel’s face darkened instantly, his expression stormy. Just as he opened his mouth to refuse, he felt Lucy tug on his arm.
Lucy looked at the man with a faint, enigmatic smile, her expression unreadable. “Deal.”
If Johnny wanted to play dirty, Lucy would make sure he regretted it.
“Lucy,” Daniel said, his voice laced with concern. “Are you sure about this? The speed might be too much for you.”
