They Beg For My Return (Camila Jackson) novel Chapter 191

Chapter 191

Lucy charged forward, her eyes blazing red with rage as she kicked the bedroom door open with a loud bang.

The scene inside was horrifyingBaron was pressing Camila down on the bed, the once white sheets now soaked in her blood.

Camila’s stunning face was swollen and bruised, barely recognizable. Her exposed skin was covered in raw, angry blisters from the scalding water, leaving her in a state too tragic to bear.

Instantly, Lucy lost it. You bastard!she roared, plunging the knife into Baron’s lower back.

Baron let out a piercing scream, collapsing onto the bed, his body convulsing in pain, his face twisted in agony.

Lucy went crazy, stabbing Baron again and again. He couldn’t fight back, each blow tearing into him. His body was a mess of blood and wounds. When it was over, he lay dead, eyes wide open.

Camila had just come to her senses when she saw Baron’s lifeless body. She was stunned, her mind unable to process what had just happened.

No.Camila murmured. Lucy had killed Baron, and this could mean the death penalty.

Camila had endured abuse without shedding a single tear. But now, watching Lucy lose herself in a violent rage for her, tears streamed down her face uncontrollablyLucy’s bright future was ruined all because of her.

Lucy stopped and pulled Camila into a tight embrace. It’s okay, she whispered. I’ve got you now.

The fighting outside died down. Turner, Michael, Daniel, and Sean rushed in after hearing the commotion. The sight of Camila’s disheveled state and Baron’s lifeless body stopped them in their tracks, stunned.

*Lucy, why did you do this again?Turner frowned, his voice tight with worry. We could’ve called the policethey would’ve handled it. Why take this on yourself?

Police?Lucy let out a sharp, bitter laugh. She turned, her eyes blazing with fury. These bastards hurt Camila, and the worst they’d get is a few years behind bars before walking free. That’s not justiceit’s a joke!

I don’t care about locking them up. I want them goneI want them to pay with their lives for what they did to Camila.

Her words landed like a bomb, and the room went dead silent.

Tears streamed down Camila’s face as she stared at Turner. What do you mean Lucy did this again? Who else has she killed?

Turner looked like he was about to break. Remember the woman who led the bullying against you in prison? Lucy killed her after she got out. Camila, do you know how far Lucy’s gone for you? She even broke Owen’s legs.

Shut up!Lucy roared at Turner, her eyes blazing with warning.

Sean frowned, tugging at Turner’s sleeve. Ms. Jackson is Mr. Campbell’s woman. Careful what you say.

Turner exploded as the image of Lucy killing for Camila flashed in his mind. The woman I love is facing the death penalty. How am I supposed to stay quiet?

Instantly, the room went dead silent.

Taking a deep breath, Turner suddenly rushed toward Lucy and snatched the knife from her hand.

What are you doing?Lucy asked, her eyes narrowing in suspicion.

I won’t let you die.” Turner gritted his teeth. Get out of here, all of you. I’ll clean up this mess.If the cops came looking, he’d take the fall for Lucy.

Chapter 191

Camila felt a sharp pain in her chest. Before she could react, blood spilled from her lips, her vision blurring as she struggled to stay conscious.

Lucy panicked Camila, hang in there! I’ll get you to the hospital right now.

Sean quickly scooped Camila into his arms, carrying her out of the bedroom as the group hurried to leave.

It was only then they realized that Claude and Ivanna had fled, leaving Patricia and Owen sprawled on the floor.

Lucy’s face twisted with fury as she spotted the two. She grabbed the kitchen knife from the ground and swung it at them.

No!Camila screamed in terror, her voice cracking.

But it was too late. The knife slashed down, and Patricia’s head rolled to the floor in a gruesome arc.

Camila’s eyes widened in disbelief. Lucy, why are you doing this?

Lucy was covered in blood, her smile creepy. I’ve already crossed the line. What’s one more life on my hands? I’ll make sure they all pay for what they did to you. My life for theirs? Totally worth it.

With that, she walked up to Owen, gripping the knife tightly.

Owen was paralyzed with fear, his pants soaked as he begged desperately, No, please. I was wrong. Camila, stop her

Owen’s screams ripped through the room as Lucy sliced off his hand. She didn’t stop there. Instead, she kept going, tearing him apart piece by bloody piece.

The scene was so horrifying that everyone trembled with fear, and Camila fainted on the spot.

Lucy walked toward Turner and demanded, Give me the butterfly knife.”

Are you insane?Turner gave her a hard look, his voice sharp.

Lucy let out a harsh laugh. Sure, I am. After seeing the filth of humanity, how could I not be? Those bastards don’t deserve to breathe.

The law will deal with them,Turner said through gritted teeth.

The law?Lucy sneered, her voice dripping with disdain. The law’s punishment is a joke compared to what Camila went through. If the law could make them feel every bit of what she suffered, I wouldn’t have to get my hands dirty.

But it can’t. Even if they’re locked up, they’ll just do some labor in prison. Behave well, and they’ll get their sentences reduced. How is that justice? How can I accept that?

You’ll die for this,Turner shouted, his voice cracking.
