Noting my amused expression, Nicholas felt mortified. He decided to take things. further with me. “Having such a sexy wife can be bad sometimes.”

Affection and tenderness filled Nicholas’s eyes as he glanced at me, who was still in his arms. This side of him was so gentle. Although I wasn’t on my period, his ministrations were very comforting.

“Whenever Claudia is on her period, she’ll be in so much pain that even medication won’t work. But she’ll always feel better once I keep her warm.”

A pang of anguish shot through me. The wind gushed past the window, making my eyes cold and painful.

“Don’t bother. I’m fine,” I said, nudging his hand away.

However, Nicholas insisted. Perching me on his lap, he warmed his hands and slipped them under the hem of my top.

“Does this feel better?”

“Yeah…” I mumbled. “Do you do this for Claudia too?”

His actions made my body tense, and my voice became hoarse.

Nicholas balked. As if he remembered something, he didn’t answer me and merely responded, “I’ll also do this for you in the future.”

Also? This single word alone meant a lot. Exhausted, I closed my eyes and feigned joy. “Okay!”

He didn’t notice the change in my mood. As he rubbed my abdomen, he began. snaking his hand downward.

Sitting on his lap, I could sense his body’s reaction. It was quite discomforting. Fortunately, I was prepared. I had put on a sanitary pad before I came downstairs. He had no choice but to withdraw his hand reluctantly and open the car window a bit wider.
