She smiled softly before seemingly looking down in exasperation. and despair. However, the corner of her lips was still lifted into a small smile, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. The air around her felt ice–cold.

“Then we’re doomed. Nick will be snatched away from us. You’re also doomed.”

Suddenly, she pointed the dagger toward herself and stabbed herself in the arm. She didn’t seem like she could feel the pain as she said, “Nick won’t chase me away if I’m hurt!”
