The sudden kiss was like a tornado, and it ambushed me.
Nicholas' agile tongue explored every inch of my mouth. I couldn't react to it in time and couldn't fight back at all. The only thing I felt was that every other sense in my body had turned itself off at that moment.
All that was left was the mild scent of cigarettes wafting into my nose and numbing every single one of my nerves.
He showed me his lust with that kiss. For a moment there, every drop of blood inside me had rushed to my head. His insanity had sent every nerve in my body into overdrive. It hurt me so much that I was almost asphyxiated.
I came around after that. My palm had just begun pushing against his chest when he grabbed it and interlaced his fingers with mine.
At the very next second, the back of my palm was pressed onto the window and left a mark on the glass.
It seemed like Nicholas had lost control. He locked every single inch of my body in place. The guy never gave me any chance to flee. His tongue, which was slightly icy earlier, had become burning hot after that intense kiss.
I wanted to talk at the time, and he seized the opportunity to slip his tongue further in. He had consumed every struggle and word I had in mind.
I had no idea how much time had passed before I finally got the chance to catch my breath. I aimed for his tongue and bit down. The pungent taste of blood instantly spread out. Nicholas was in so much pain that he let me go.
Nicholas' eyes were bloodshot when he looked at me. He licked his bleeding lip. His gaze brimmed with accusation as he asked, "Are you still annoyed with me?"
Seeing his bloodthirsty side, I was surprisingly at a loss for words for a moment there. I couldn't stop my lips from trembling.
I lifted my arm as much as I could and then mercilessly swung my palm toward his shameless face.
Slap!
My slap got his face to turn to the side. The sound of it echoed within the car. Nicholas never defended himself. He endured my slap head-on. Red marks slowly appeared on his face.
Even my voice was trembling when I said, "We are about to get a divorce!"
"I am well aware of that," replied Nicholas.
He then turned back around. He gently caressed his face with his thumb and grinned evilly at me. "That is why you should get your fill now. I'd rather not have you make things complicated and come after me after the divorce."
