Chapter 0292
Nicholas’s expression darkened. It was his first time snapping at Jasmine, and I thought he’d lost his mind. She was his fiancée, after all. What was I even to him?
“I’m the one who should leave,” I blurted out as I was feeling somewhat
distracted.
The argument at the door suddenly came to a halt. Snapping back to his senses, Nicholas slammed the door shut and ended the commotion.
“There’s someone there? There’s a woman in my bedroom? Is it Ariana?” Jasmine shrieked, her voice growing louder with each question.
Her tone grew resigned when she finally mentioned my name, and her voice. dropped drastically.
Nicholas locked the door and ordered, “Jasmine, spend the night at the hotel tonight.”
The door shook as Jasmine pounded on it. She was never gentle, after all.
“Nick, what are you doing? You said you’re going to take care of me. Are you going back on your word? Is bringing another woman into my home the way you take care of me?”
Nicholas took a deep breath to suppress his temper, but his words were still threatening nonetheless.
“Don’t forget our promise. This doesn’t have to be your home.”
I frowned at his back, not understanding what he was trying to say to
Jasmine.
Fine… I understand.”
Jasmine complied, and the noise outside ceased. However, I had a feeling that she hadn’t actually left as I didn’t hear her footsteps departing.
Nicholas swerved around and glowered at me. “Happy now?”

I felt uneasy. How could he blame me for his argument with Jasmine?
Removing his tie, he went up to me and said, “Ariana, I’ll fulfill whatever requests you make. Even if it means being labeled as a pervert, it’s nothing to me.”
“What are you talking about? You don’t need a label,” I replied, my gaze darting around for something I could use as a weapon.
Just as I caught sight of a scented candle, Nicholas seemed to no intentions. He strode over and pinned my wrists down with one hand. Before I knew it, his tie was wrapped around my wrists and tied in a pretty bow.

He kissed me again. In this confined space with no one else around, he was unrestrained. I endured his ministrations with my tongue passively until he reached for the silk scarf around my neck.
I began resisting violently. Propping himself up, he glanced at me and his eyes were devoid of displeasure. Instead, he looked satisfied.
“Then we’ll remove this last. I bet you’ll look stunning when I pull off the scarf after you’re naked.” Nicholas hugged me tightly and added, “Ariana, you’re my gift.”
Closing my eyes, I quavered, “Can you untie me?”
