Chapter 0376
I overheard Nicholas ordering food outside. He specifically called to request some of my favorite pastries and made sure to emphasize that they were for his wife.
As I got dressed, I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself put on this show
wondered who he was trying to of affection for when no one was watching. I would never believe him again.
After packing my luggage, I finally exited the room to find the dining table laden with an array of dishes.
Seated at one end of the long table, Nicholas was hastily shoving something into his pocket. I heard the crinkle of aluminum foil. Then, he took a sip of his coffee. I wasn’t sure what he was trying to cover up.
