The atmosphere at The Secret at night was entirely different from the daytime. The scent of alcohol and perfumes was merely the surface. Men and women were lurking in the shadows, waiting to pounce.
But what lay even barer than desire was greed and depravity.
This wasn't an ordinary bar, not just a place for adults to release their emotions. Everyone who came here had an agenda.
Leo was blinded by this decadent world. Truthfully, he was the one unworthy of Yasmine.
The private room on the second floor remained untouched—even the shards of glass at the door were left uncleared.
I saw several bottles of liquor scattered at Leo's feet. He was sprawled on the sofa, and it was unclear whether he was drunk or sober.
However, it seemed that he was still alert. He was already staring at me with open eyes when I approached him.
"You're so annoying! Why are you taking turns to annoy me?"
Irritated, Leo rolled up his shirt sleeves and unbuttoned a few more buttons at his collar. His alluring peach-blossom eyes were slightly hazy from the alcohol, making him look absolutely stunning.
Yasmine once said that her relationship with Leo began with drunken passion. Faced with such a version of him, it wasn't surprising she was drawn in.
I sat across from him, grabbed a bottle from the table, and was about to drink when he snatched it from me. The liquor spilled, splashing onto the floor.
Leo squinted at me. "Get lost. This isn't a place for women like you."
I gestured toward the bottles on the table and gave him an innocent smile. "I'll leave if you finish all the liquor here."
"Are you kidding me? There are at least thirty bottles. Do you want to poison me with alcohol?" Leo moved to stand, but I grabbed a bottle and threw it at him.
