True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 1000

Maria was still slightly doubtful, but as she stared at Little Gary, her reddened eyes slowly became clearer.

Grace thought to herself, "Little Gary is really great at coaxing girls when he wants to."

She couldn't help but feel ashamed of her own ability comparatively.

"Can I believe in you then?" Maria asked Little Gary again, but she still sounded slightly hesitant regarding it.

"Maria, your mommy is really so busy that she called me. Look, isn't this your mommy's phone number?" Grace showed her call history to Maria.

She took a look at it, but then looked at Little Gary again, as if she would believe whatever he said.

He looked at the ceiling and sighed, "Alas, women are really troublesome, paranoid, lack selfconfidence and often cry. They won't believe people when they say something, and yet they still want them to say something. I have no idea how to deal with women anymore."

Grace felt embarrassed after hearing what he

said.

Maria rebutted, "I'm a little girl, not a woman."

"It doesn't make much of a difference since you're gonna turn into a woman eventually," he said. "Anyway, little girls still belong to the same species as women, so there aren't many differences.

Maria actually nodded in response.

Grace suspected that she didn't actually understand what Little Gary said.

"Maria, do you actually understand what Little Gary said before nodding?"

"Little Gary said that little girls and women are of the same species. I think that makes a lot of sense," Maria sounded just like a baby when she answered her.

Alright, perhaps Grace was too old-fashioned after all.

These children knew what was going on and understood things well.

She was the one who was overthinking.

Heinz, who stood behind them, couldn't help but laugh as well. This little guy seemed to have shifted his attention and no longer looked for his mommy all the time.

However, he felt the need to remind her again,

"Maria, so do you still need to look for your mommy? Is it okay for you to sleep over here tonight?"

As soon as she heard Heinz's voice and realized that her mommy wouldn't be picking her up that night, Maria felt like tearing up again.

Little Gary immediately rolled his eyes at Heinz and said with disdain, "Old Heinz, you're so insensitive. Why did you bring this topic up again when we literally just shifted her attention?"

"Shouldn't she face this problem directly?" Heinz answered nonchalantly, "Otherwise, wouldn't she feel worried again the moment this thought crosses her mind later? I think Maria would understand if we talked to her directly about it. Right?"

Perhaps it was Heinz's deep voice, his cold demeanor or a combination of both, but Maria started crying the moment she looked at him.

"Ahh!"

As soon as that happened, Little Gary's disdain for Heinz worsened.

Even Grace felt that he was too stupid to be so blunt about it.

She thus looked at him helplessly.

Heinz frowned and looked at Maria who was crying as he asked again, "Maria, why are you

crying?"

She cried even harder.

"Alright, alright," Grace sounded helpless about it, "Heinz, why don't you leave us alone for now? You're really scaring Maria the longer you remain here, which would make it harder for us to calm her down. You should just leave us for now."

Heinz sounded as if he was innocent, "Am I really that scary?"

"What do you think?" Little Gary answered with disdain.

Having not spoken for a long time, even Ernest felt the need to say, "Dad, you really do look scary when you're being serious, I doubt anyone here isn't afraid of that face of yours."
