Hearing that, Zachary's whole body turned stiff, and his expressions instantly changed. It was as if it was suddenly overcast with a gloomy layer.
Grace was also shocked at how his emotions changed upon hearing what she said.
Her cousin had always been gentle, mature and steady, but at that moment, he was behaving in a completely opposite manner.
She was startled for a while and spoke again. "That little girl is named Maria Attwood. Her mother is Yvonne Attwood."
Almost in a flash, he stood up with his lips pursed together. He immediately asked her, "Yvonne Attwood?"
"Yes." Grace stood up as well.
Noticing how worked up Zachary was, Heinz deduced that he was probably related to Maria. It looked like she could really be his long- lost daughter.
"Here are some photos," Heinz took out his phone and showed Zachary some photos of Maria.
These photos were taken by him the night before.
He felt wonderful watching how the children enjoyed themselves so much, so he took these photos to look back on in the future.
Zachary's hands were nearly trembling when he took Heinz's phone. When he caught sight of the little girl's smile, he tensed up immediately.
They looked so alike!
They really, really looked like each other.
Zachary's eyes narrowed sharply, and his whole body froze at that moment.
This little girl looked extremely similar to himself.
His heart surged non-stop after realizing it.
Grace and Heinz exchanged glances. She then sighed as she asked Heinz, "Since you took photos of Maria, did you take any photos of her mom as well?"
"No," Heinz shook his head. "If anyone caught me taking photos of a woman, it would be so embarrassing as they would surely misunderstand my intentions."
She rolled her eyes. "You should have taken some photos of her."
"Never mind." Heinz shook his head and said, "I don't have such habits, and these photos should suffice already. If Zachary wants to find out more, he has to do it himself as there is only so much
that we can do."
Although Grace felt that it was a pity, she still agreed with what he said. There was only so much that they could do about this.
"You guys mentioned that her mom is named Yvonne Attwood?" Zachary confirmed it with them, as if he was having a hard time believing it.
"Yes, her name is Yvonne," Grace answered. "She's a very beautiful woman with the elegance of women from Southland. Her skin is really fair, and her hair is pretty long and nice too. She has big eyes as well as a decent personality. At least it felt decent to me."
"Decent?" Zachary raised his eyebrows and there was a hint of sarcasm in his tone.
Grace was taken aback by his attitude. "Zachary, what are you trying to imply with that attitude of yours?"
"Nothing, where is that child?" He said in a deep tone, "I need to go see that child now."
"Now?" Grace was surprised. "Zachary, are you sure that she's..."
Before she could finish her question, he interrupted her, "She's my child."
Wow!
That was such a straightforward confirmation.
Her cousin was so domineering.
"Are you sure there aren't any possibilities for an error to occur?" Grace couldn't really believe it.
Zachary, however, was very firm with his stance. "This child is definitely mine.”
She looked so much like him. Most importantly, she was the child of Yvonne Attwood, that bloody woman. He couldn't believe that she was hiding such a big secret from him.
D*mn it, Yvonne really crossed the line.
