Timothy was very surprised. He furrowed his eyebrows. "Why is she throwing up blood?"
"We're not sure," Jensen's voice came from the other end of the line. "It happened on the way to the detention center, so it's really urgent."
"She doesn't have any illnesses and the school has routine physical examinations for all staff, her results are always very good." Timothy couldn't figure out why Quinn would suddenly vomit blood.
"Has her body always been in good health?" Jensen was slightly surprised too.
"Yes." Timothy thought for a while and asked again, "Have you informed Zayne about this?"
"Not yet. Zayne is still rather young. I'm worried he can't handle Madam Berkeley's condition very well." Jensen made his decision based on this consideration. "I thought it was best for you to handle this, so I contacted you."
"I've already divorced her." Timothy paused again and said, "I believe the police will assist Zayne in dealing with anything that happened in the detention center. Officer Charm, I'll be staying out of this."
Jensen was taken aback. "Mr. Yarbrough, are you worried about Grace?"
Tve told you, I'm nothing to Quinn anymore. You shouldn't have called," Timothy said coldly. "Officer Charm, I'm sorry but I can't accept your arrangements. What are you even trying to do?"
Jensen didn't say anything after hearing that.
Hearing this, Alice went over and took the phone from Timothy. "Jensen, is that you?"
"Alice?" Jensen was startled. He didn't expect Alice to be with Timothy.
"Yes, it's me," Alice said icily. "Tell me what you just said to Mr. Yarbrough.
Jensen could only repeat, "Quinn threw up blood and she's on her way to the hospital."
"Mr. Yarbrough is right. Aren't you a policeman? Since they have divorced, that means they aren't related anymore. How do you think Grace would feel for you to call Mr. Yarbrough at a time like this?
He did the right thing to reject you. Also, you clearly knew something had happened to my sister, why didn't you say anything to me? What's the meaning of this? Don't you want me to know about what's going on with my sister?
As for Madam Berkeley, your team should come forward to deal with her instead. She vomited blood when she was under your care, so you guys should deal with it."
"Alice." Jensen sighed. "All I'm hoping for is an improvement."
"Well, have you visited my sister? Do you know what's going on with her?" Alice shot back rudely. "I guess you haven't, have you?"
Jensen hesitated before saying, "Yes, I haven't visited Grace yet. I only called her."
"So, you are not in a position to propose anything," Alice said. "When you speak of this, you are totally unfazed. The person who is hurt isn't your sister, isn't it? The children in my sister's belly have no blood relations with you, but they do with me."
"Alice, can you please don't get your sister involved? I didn't mean that. I just hope that the matter can be handled peacefully."
"D*mn your peacefulness," Alice snapped. "Go and handle Quinn yourself. Don't call to bother other people."
After that, Alice hung up the phone.
Grace could tell that there was something wrong from Alice's tone.
