Everyone was glad to see the couple hugging and kissing each other.
Everyone present that day knew how much hardships both Heinz and Grace went through to be together. With their biological children, Little Gary and Ernest, and another two little ones in Grace's belly present on their most important day, everything was perfect.
It was probably God's plan for them.
Meanwhile, Heinz was still kissing Grace and had shown no intention to stop.
It was getting slightly awkward. She was aware that the crowd was still staring at them. She quickly pushed him away and protested in a low voice, "Heinz, everyone is watching!"
"I know." He had a mocking smile. Looking at her blushing face, his heart was throbbing uncontrollably. He couldn't help himself and he kissed her again.
Zachary was next to them and witnessed the whole scene.
He then reminded the bride and groom, "Next, let's welcome the bride and groom to express their love for each other."
"Yes, we want to hear them say "I love you" to each other!" Hermione couldn't contain her excitement and started making a fuss. She didn't act like she was a forty-year-old woman. Instead, she acted like a kid.
How could she say such a thing in front of everyone?
"Heinz, come on, don't be shy. Come on, we want to hear what you have to say to express your love to Grace," she continued to call out loudly.
"That's right. Heinz, say something," Alice added. "Children, do you want to hear it too?"
The kids shouted at the same time, "We want to hear it, we want to hear it."
"Just say it aloud."
Heinz and Grace looked at each other with surprise in their eyes.
It seemed that the crowd really wanted them to do so.
Since it was their wedding day, they had no excuse to back down.
He looked at her blushing face and felt even more satisfied. Suddenly, he teased her and said, "Ladies first. You can go first."
"What?" She was stunned for a moment. It was too outrageous for her to say such a thing. She widened her eyes and looked at him. He must have done this on purpose.
"Say that you love me," his tone was gentle, but there was also a hint of insistence. He rested his hands on her shoulders, and his sharp gaze was as deep as the sea. He stared at her for a moment.
"Gentlemen first!" Hermione shouted, "In this case, it's not suitable for a lady to speak first. Heinz, as a man you should say it out loud. We want to hear you express your love to Grace."
"Yes, Heinz, although I also sympathize with you, I agree with Hermione more. Grace will be embarrassed if she has to say it first," Alice said.
Grace also stared at him. She was not afraid but felt a little embarrassed to suggest that he should go first.
However, he was unfazed by the commotion.
He turned his eyes slightly to glance at Hermione and Alice, hinting at them to calm down.
Then, he turned to look at Grace and smiled.
"Dear, tell me you love me," he coaxed her again.
She widened her eyes and stared at him. Everyone was already asking him to say it first but he was still insisting that she go first.
Her lips parted subconsciously. Her lips were as beautiful as roses. She had something to say, but held back beneath his gaze.
She raised her eyebrows slightly as a crafty look flitted across her eyes. She looked at Heinz and said loudly, "Heinz, you love me."
In an instant, he was puzzled.
