True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 1924

After Ernest took his shower, he came out of the bathroom in a white bathrobe. When he heard movement in the kitchen, he walked over there.

Leah was making dinner in the kitchen.

After Ernest got back from getting groceries, he had gone to take a shower. In that short time, Leah had already prepared two dishes and a soup.

"It smells really good," Ernest said from behind, "How are you so efficient?"

When Leah turned around, she saw that Ernest was standing at the door in just a bathrobe and a towel around his neck. He looked refreshed.

She hurriedly said, "The food will be ready soon. Hurry up and put some clothes on. I don't want you catching a cold."

It was winter, a slight chill could result in a cold.

Leah urged Ernest to put clothes on quickly but Ernest was not in a hurry to do so. He walked over and circled his arms around her waist.

Leah froze. She tilted her head to look back at him and found Ernest's lips on hers.

"Oh!" Leah cried out in surprise. The man took advantage of her gasp and dove straight in.

Leah was still holding a spatula, lost in the moment, she didn't even realize it was still in her hand.

The kiss was too sweet.

Every time he kissed her like that, she would lose all sense of time and space.

"Ernest," Leah whined, her position wasn't very comfortable.

However, Ernest did not stop. Instead, he held her chin with a hand and continued their passionate kiss.

They kissed for a long time.

The man did not give her any chance to think or resist.

Her breath had been stolen away, her mind empty, her limbs weak. She leaned into Ernest's arms and let him do whatever he wanted.

He kissed Leah deeply. Soon enough, Ernest's hand reached into her clothes.

Smack!

In the end, the spatula fell.

It slipped out of her hands and made a loud sound. Both of them were stunned for a moment.

Leah's breath had been taken away by him, her mind was blank, and she felt a little panicked.

But Ernest still had no intention of stopping.

"Ernest..." Leah moaned out loud.

Only then did Ernest let go of her. However, he didn't release her. Instead, he buried his face in her neck. He inhaled deeply, Leah's scent invading his senses. Then, he said in a muffled voice, "I love the feeling of taking a nice shower, then coming out to food being prepared."

Leah thought he loved the feeling of kissing.

Hearing his words, she was also stunned for a moment. Then she smiled and said, "The atmosphere feels so otherworldly?"

"Yeah." He nodded but still didn't let go of her. Rather, his hands on her tightened.

Leah adjusted her posture and leaned back into his arms.

"Leah," Ernest whispered in Leah's ear in a low and hoarse voice, "It's not only that. I love the smell of your scent as well. It makes me unable to restrain myself."

He straightened up and turned Leah around to her face him.

Her lips were wet and swollen from their kiss. She looked extremely sexy.

Leah blushed and accused in a low voice, "Eat first, don't seduce me."

Ernest suddenly laughed. He buried his face back in Leah's neck and laughed softly, "I am indeed trying to seduce you. Do you accept it?"

"I'm hungry. I want to eat something," she quickly objected.

However, Ernest was still unwilling to move away. He knew that her ears were very sensitive and deliberately whispered in her ear in a low hoarse voice, "I'm hungry too."

"Then let's eat." She struggled again.

"I've already started." After saying that, Ernest no longer tried to be ambiguous. He turned off the stove, picked her up, and went straight to the bedroom.

Leah was so shocked that she was about to cry.

She didn't know why he was so eager.

They weren't newly-weds on their honeymoon! In fact, they had just come back from a trip. Why did he suddenly want her again?

Leah eventually couldn't hold it in anymore. She let out a low cry and started to speak. But by that time, Ernest had already placed her on the bed.

Ernest laughed. "Why are you being so impatient? Haste makes waste."

The more they spoke, the more difficult it became to resist him. Leah had already accepted her fate. She knew that she would not be able to refuse Ernest.

In the end, she surrendered herself to him.

They were supposed to eat dinner at six, but they ended up eating around nine.

Soon after that, she fell asleep but was suddenly awakened by something.

She opened her eyes and saw that the room was dark. She reached out her hand but found that there was no one sleeping next to her.

She heard the sound of typing outside.

Leah turned on her lamp, got up, and opened the door. Ernest was shocked when he saw the door open. He raised his head and looked in the direction of the bedroom. He smiled and said, "You're awake?"

He hurriedly shut his laptop.

Leah was confused by that action.

Leah blinked her eyes and thought that she had

imagined it.

"After going at it for so long, aren't you tired? You should go to sleep. Are you writing your thesis?" Leah yawned as she walked over. She sat on the sofa with her legs curled up and leaned leisurely against his shoulder.

"I was just catching up on some coursework," Ernest said, "Are you hungry?"

"What do you think? It's all your fault. I haven't eaten anything yet and I'm feeling really cold!" Leah complained, "I'm starving."

"I just cooked some meat for you. You can go get them from the pot," said Ernest.

"Oh? You cooked?" Leah immediately raised her head and looked at Ernest.

Ernest smiled into her eyes and nodded. "Yes, I thought it would be good for us to eat more meat. When you were sleeping, I made some beef soup for you."

"You did that for me on purpose?" Leah asked suspiciously.

"Not really. I'm just killing two birds with one stone," Ernest was also very modest, "It was just convenient."

Leah's admiration for Ernest grew. After eating and drinking his fill, he was still able to come up with such a reasonable excuse. What else could she do?
