True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 1945

Celeste looked up at him and said, "Does that mean that you agree to my proposal?"

Gary nodded. "That's right, I fully agree with your suggestion. Not only do I agree with your suggestion, but I should also call Ernest and tell him that we are going over there first and that they're not allowed to back out."

When Celeste heard that, she felt gratified. "I am really happy that you can think this way. Okay, hurry up and call Ernest. I will pack up first. After that, we can go."

"Okay." Only then did Gary raise his head and leave Celeste's side to take his phone.

By the time Ernest received Gary's call, Ernest and Leah had already left the house.

Ernest glanced at his phone, the caller ID showing Gary's name.

Leah immediately asked, "Who's calling you? Why aren't you answering the call?"

"It's Gary," he said, "I don't want to answer it."

"Why?" Leah was confused.

"I don't want to answer it," Ernest said, "He must have heard us leaving. That must be why he is calling me."

"Don't be so stingy. What if your brother isn't trying to make fun of you this time?" Leah asked. "No matter what it is, you should answer the call first."

Ernest thought for a while. In the end, he answered the call.

"Gary."

"Hey, Ernest, I have already discussed this with Celeste. We are planning to go to the villa before you two. The two of you can come at any time you want. However, all four of us must go, no backing out," Gary said directly.

"Oh." Ernest was also surprised. "We are going to Leah's apartment first. You two go ahead. If we don't leave tonight, I will let you know."

"Alright." Gary did not insist. "That's all, then."

"Okay, goodbye." Ernest hung up the phone then looked at Leah.

Leah burst into laughter. "Haha."

Ernest asked, "What are you laughing at?"

"I am laughing at how childish you two are. Sometimes, you two are as petty as children," Leah said, "Gary was going against you this morning but suddenly changed his tune. You were so narrow-minded a while ago. He just wanted to call you and didn't mean anything else. That's great."

Ernest nodded, and could not help but laugh too. "I thought that he was going to say something bad again."

Leah thought about it and said, "It must be Celeste. She must have told him something after breakfast that made your brother change his mind."

"It could be." Ernest sighed.

"If that is the case, it means that Gary really likes Celeste and cares about her."

"Of course he does."

"Then I guess I was narrow-minded a little while ago too." Leah shrugged and criticized herself, "I was thinking too much."

"It's fine." Ernest comforted her, "Don't worry about it."

"Sure, I won't take it to heart." The two of them then returned to her apartment.

The moment she entered the door, Leah turned on her laptop to check her updates.

When Ernest saw her opening her browser, he could not help but ask, "What are you looking at?" "I am catching up. Don't you think it is funny? I am catching up on my own book. Even though it started out as my book, now someone else is writing the later parts. It is kind of funny. I can't believe I am addicted as both an author and a reader. The writing isn't bad."

Ernest's eyes flashed once more. "Go on, I will get you a glass of water."

"Okay." Leah nodded. "Go, do what you must, I will take a nap after I finish reading."
