Sylvia's heart was beating wildly, threatening to jump out of her chest any moment. Her brain was in a mess.
Kendrix didn't seem like he wanted the kiss to end. He increased the strength in his hand, and it was gliding down her neck.
Sylvia did not dare to move. Her consciousness seemed to drift away as she forgot to react.
In a daze, she felt his palm sliding down her back as he hugged her tighter.
Kendrix's passion was set ablaze upon feeling the soft touch of Sylvia's body.
He wanted more.
Sylvia was as dazzling as the sun, and he was attracted to this part of her.
He really wanted her.
However, he knew very well that it wasn't the right time yet.
Kendrix was in a dilemma with himself.
Despite his rationality and desires being at odds, his rationality gradually overpowered his desires.
It was not the right time.
Kendrix couldn't afford hurting someone like Sylvia who adored him so badly.
It didn't matter waiting. After all, they had a whole future ahead of them.
However, he managed to suck all of the oxygen from Sylvia's lungs that she couldn't breathe. She was grunting and struggling.
It was only then that Kendrix let Sylvia go.
She gasped for air as soon as she regained freedom. Her face was red, her vision was blurry, and her lips were red and swollen. She looked at him, blaming him for his sudden impulse, but he knew she was happy.
Sylvia's palms were sweaty and she didn't dare to look at him, so she chose to look down.
She never expected Kendrix to show his affection for her so openly by kissing her in such a desolate parking area.
She couldn't control her feelings for him, but school was starting soon.
After the semester began, he would not stay in school for long. He would leave after his research came to an end and return to his original unit.
Nothing like this would happen in that period.
Kendrix was very introverted and restrained.
It was impossible for them to exchange such a passionate kiss in the near foreseeable future.
And maybe that was why he let his emotions surge.
This wouldn't happen again once the semester began.
It was unknown when their next shared kiss would even be.
Thinking of this, Sylvia couldn't help but lean closer and hug Kendrix again, planting her lips on his.
When their lips touched, she felt a current spreading all over her body like fireworks exploding in the sky.
Her mind was in pieces.
The night was quiet, and all she could hear was their hearts beating loudly from inside the car.
The moment Sylvia wrapped her arms around his neck, Kendrix's initially peaceful emotions stirred once more.
He failed to control his emotions and held her tightly again, pressing her hard against himself.
The temperature was rising from the touch on their lips.
Both of them shared a more intense kiss.
Just as Kendrix was about to pry open Sylvia's lips, a knock came from the window.
Sylvia was frightened. She thought her heart was about to stop.
Who was knocking on the window at this hour?
She subconsciously nudged Kendrix away.
Meanwhile, Kendrix turned to look out of the window. Fortunately, it was dark, so the person who was knocking the car window outside couldn't have possibly seen them kissing.
A person who looked like a cleaner in an orange uniform stood by the door as if he had something to say.
Sylvia was shocked. Fortunately, it was not someone they knew.
Yet, she did not know what this man wanted.
Kendrix turned around and glanced at her. She quickly fastened her seatbelt.
He couldn't help but snicker to see how Sylvia was trying to cover up her flustered emotions.
It seemed she had managed to recompose herself.
Sylvia blushed and stopped looking at him, muttering, "Yes."
She had to admit that it was how she thought he'd do.
Kendrix stopped teasing Sylvia, but his eyes were full of smiles as he caressed her palm.
Sylvia gasped and subconsciously shot another look at him.
Kendrix smirked, "This is my gift to you before school starts."
"What?"
Kendrix no longer said anything. How could Sylvia be so dense as to not understand?
Soon, Sylvia came to her senses and blushed even harder.
His gifts to her were the kisses and him holding her hand.
"How long will you stay in school?" Sylvia was concerned about this most.
She wanted him to stay in school so that she could see him every day. At the same time, she hoped that he could leave as soon as possible because he was her teacher. It would be too risky if they were caught in the act.
"For another month," Kendrix replied, "To be exact, I'll stay for another four weeks after the semester starts."
That was so short.
But it was going to happen sooner or later.
"Are you going to leave Northern City?" Sylvia was already missing him.
"Yes," Kendrix nodded.
"Can't you work in Northern City like Claudia?"
Sylvia asked.
"Not yet for the time being," Kendrix said.
"For the time being?"
Did that mean that he might work future?
