True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 221

Heinz Jones hung up the phone. Grace Smith asked, "It sounded like a child who was calling you just now. Who is it?"

Heinz was shocked. He was thinking about how to break the news about the child to Grace.

He said, "This kid.... he is very cute."

Upon hearing this, Grace's facial expression changed dramatically. She asked, "Heinz, is he your son?"

Heinz did not know what to say. He asked her back, "What will you do if I said yes?"

"I'll have to leave you. Stay far away from you. I will not fall in love with a married man." Grace said.

Heinz was stunned. He looked down and said, "You're over-thinking."

"Whose child is it then?" Grace asked.

"It's somebody else's," He said in a low voice.

Well, Ernest was not his biological son. Therefore, it was not wrong to say that he was somebody else's child.

However, his heart ached when he mentioned that Ernest was not his son.

He felt sorry for Ernest. He had taken care of the child for so many years. He may not be his biological son, but the boy meant the world to him.

All this while he had treated him like his own son.

Grace was in a daze after hearing what he said.

Both of them remained silent.

Grace felt a little strange and she had a bad feeling when she saw his gloomy face.

She wanted to say something. However, she couldn't spit out her words.

They had finally reached the Emerald Apartment. Grace said, "This is my place. I'll get down the car now."

Heinz came back to his senses and looked at Grace.

"Grace, when are you going to invite me to your house?" He asked.

Grace was tense for a moment. She remembered she hadn't told him about Little Gary yet. Therefore, she couldn't let him see Little Gary.

She hesitated for a moment and asked, "How about some other day?"

Heinz was a little disappointed, but he didn't force her. He said, "Okay."

He watched her as she got out of the car.

Grace stood beside the car and closed the door. He wound down the window.

Heinz was staring at Grace.

"Be careful on the road," Grace said.

Heinz was slightly startled. He nodded his head and drove the car away.

Grace gave Alice a phone call immediately.

"Alice, have you picked Little Gary up?" Grace asked.

"Yes, I've picked him up. He insisted on inviting his classmate to our house. I didn't reject him because this was the first time he was bringing a friend home. We're heading home now." Alice said.

"Is his friend called Ernest?" Grace asked.

"Yup."

"Okay. Please bring them back home first. I'm going out to buy some groceries."

"Okay. Please buy more. Little Gary said he wants Ernest to have a good meal." Alice said.

"I know. Don't worry." Grace said. Then, she hung up the phone and took a short walk to the market. They had the freshest produce there."

Alice brought Ernest and Little Gary back to the house. Ernest's driver and butler were following them in a car slowly as they walked back home.

Alice looked at them and said to Ernest, "Ernest, does your butler want to have dinner at our house?"

"No, I don't think so. He's just worried about me. He'll rest assured after knowing where the house is." Ernest shook his head and said.
