True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 2248

Claudia could also tell that Kendrix wouldn't let her drink the juice. She felt amused and helpless. Was she still in her own apartment?

Wasn't he showing too much attention on his girlfriend while neglecting her at the same time?

"Do you have to do this to me?" Claudia asked again.

However, he remained indifferent to her complaints.

"Don't be so petty. I just used some of your fruits."

"I was going to say the same. It's only a few fruits, so do you have to try so hard to stop me from drinking the juice?" She felt that he had quite a double standard.

"It's totally necessary." he answered solemnly.

Sylvia was also shocked.

It was the first time she had seen him like that.

She stared blankly at him, feeling rather puzzled. Why was he so fond of his juice?

Full of doubts, she forgot to drink her juice while she blinked.

Before she could speak up for Claudia, Kendrix urged her. "Why are you in a daze? Hurry up and drink it, and have these too. Otherwise, it won't taste good anymore."

Sylvia was taken aback. She said softly, "Ahh, Mr. Trevino."

"Drink up." he urged her again, and it was clear that he didn't want her to say a thing.

She brought the glass to her lips subconsciously and emptied it rather quickly.

Just as soon as she finished it, he took her glass and filled it for her almost at the same time.

"Mr. Trevino." She was stunned.

He ordered her as if there was no one else around them, "Didn't you say you like it? Drink up."

She took the glass over subconsciously. She looked at Claudia and then at Kendrix. After pondering for a while, she realized that he had wanted to keep the juice for her, not for himself.

However, was it really all right to do so?

"So it turns out that you are keeping it for Sylvia." Claudia laughed, looking mischievous as she teased her, "You don't have to treat me so badly just because you want to spoil your student, right?" "As you said, she's my student, so of course, I can't treat her shabbily," Kendrix said righteously. He didn't think he sounded shameless at all.

"Sylvia, did you see that? Your beloved Mr. Trevino cares so much about you." Claudia smiled at Sylvia.

Sylvia nodded blankly and looked at Kendrix subconsciously. "Thank you for your kindness."

He gave Sylvia a meaningful look. "You're welcome."

Sylvia was embarrassed.

Did he have to make it so obvious?

How was that a good thing?

Wouldn't Claudia be jealous? However, when she looked at Claudia who was next to her, she seemed more excited and happy than jealous.

The situation rendered her speechless. She was happy that he was treating her so kindly, yet she was embarrassed that Claudia didn't get to have any of the juice.

"Drink it." Kendrix ordered again.

Sylvia took the glass up instinctively and downed it.

When she finished the last sip, she couldn't control and let out a burp.

She blushed immediately.

Claudia couldn't hold back her laughter either. "Haha, are you full from the juice?"

Sylvia nodded in embarrassment.

Of course.

How could she not be full after two glasses of juice?

Also, she finished them in such a short period. She looked at the handsome man beside her with a red face.

Upon seeing that, Sylvia realized that Kendrix was smiling ever so slightly, and she could see the smile in his gaze too.
