True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 2274

No matter how dull Cordon was, at that point, he roughly understood something. He gazed at Claudia, who wore a strange expression and even blushed.

It was just that it was a blush of awkwardness.

Claudia felt greatly embarrassed.

She wondered what exactly Sebastian wanted.

With her eyes focused on him, Claudia felt that she could no longer retain her composure.

It was because he really behaved in an unusual manner that day.

He was making things difficult for her on purpose.

At first, he did not want to have any contact with her. Why did he start pestering her and insist on putting her in a difficult position that day? It was beyond Claudia.

Cordon had no option but to take the bags of desserts and cake from Sebastian's hands and put them on the back seat.

Claudia did not say much, but just went behind to the backseat.

Cordon lowered his voice and asked, "Claudia, is your brother obsessed with you?"

Bemused, Claudia looked at Cordon subconsciously.

He probably realized that his words should not be spoken overtly, therefore he pulled her backward quickly, and the two of them took a few steps back.

Cordon lowered his voice again. "That's what I think. Your brother seems to dislike me being with you."

"You!" Claudia was speechless. She goggled at Cordon and asked, "When did I say that he's my brother?"

Cordon stood rooted to the spot, blinking. "Is he not your brother?"

Claudia was at a loss for words again, and she even rolled her eyes. "Do I look like I have a younger brother?"

"Uh, I'm sorry. I thought he is your brother." Cordon broke into chuckle. "I remember that you have a decent elder, or younger brother."

"That's my cousin," Claudia said, "Your memory is really bad."

"Uh!" Cordon smiled sheepishly. "Then, who is this? Why is he so imperious?"

"Forget it," Claudia said, "Anyway, he isn't my brother."

"Then who on earth is he?" Cordon was confused. "If he isn't your brother, then who is he? He's so protective of you, and he's treating me as if I'm his romantic rival."

Claudia froze for a while before she replied grumpily, "All right, quit asking. Get into the car. Why did you became so chatty?"

After saying that, Claudia turned around and walked back, ignoring what Cordon wanted to speak.

She sat into the car in a flash.

In front of her, Sebastian was in the car, and there seemed to be a kind of frosty aura around him.

Claudia, who was in the backseat, could sense his aura clearly.

She shot a curious glance at the boy in front of her.

She could not see his face. Only his ears and neatly trimmed hair were visible to her. He had a slender neck and a stylish hairstyle, and his hair was very tidy.

D*mn it. He was so good-looking all over, even including his hair. It really made Claudia feel like she was incurable.

She thought that she might have fallen ill from being in love with him.

She must have fallen critically ill. Otherwise, why would she still feel like that then? Even then, she still thought that Sebastian was just so handsome.

Alas.

Her heart had really been stolen.

There was indeed a look of frostiness in Sebastian's eyes. It ruffled his feathers to see Cordon and Claudia muttering something earlier, which he had no clue what they were talking about.

He was thinking, "How dare he whisper to her before the very eyes of mine! What was there to be whispered about?"

Sebastian snorted in his heart. When he saw Cordon go across the front of the car, his sight was fixed on him coldly.

The piercingly cold air emanated from him prompted Claudia to say, "Sebastian, put away your arrogance!"

Bewildered, Sebastian turned his head quietly and looked into her eyes.

Claudia felt a chill down her spine under his cold gaze.

"What are you doing?"

He just stared at her silently without uttering a word.

From the looks of it, he did not want to pay attention to her, but his eyes were full of resentment.

As a result, Claudia felt as if she had done something wrong.
