Heinz was taken aback at her remarks and looked at Alice with a frown.
She seemed very hostile towards him, which made Heinz feel as if he had done something unforgivable, as if he was the enemy.
He was very surprised.
Alice glared at Heinz. "He has absolutely no idea. Sis, he owes you..."
When Grace saw that how agitated Alice was that she almost blurted out everything, she anxiously shouted again, "Alice, please stop!"
Alice turned to look at her sister. Seeing her shouting at her like that, she felt extremely uncomfortable.
She tried her best to hold back and bit her lip. Tears gathered in the corners of her eyes.
She felt that things were just too unfair for her sister, who had sacrificed far too much for Heinz.
First of all, it was all because of Heinz that her sister lost the most precious thing for a woman to begin with. She also lost Simon Brown. The love which originally belonged to her elder sister, was given to Marry Smith.
It was fine that she lost Simon Brown. After all, Simon was not a good person and was not worthy of being entrusted with her whole life.
However, her elder sister was impregnated by
Heinz. It was too cruel for her to get pregnant before marriage.
For a beautiful young girl, it would have caused too much damage.
This kind of damage was unprecedented.
Alice became more furious the more she thought about it.
All the hard times in which her sister had suffered throughout the years flashed through her mind.
All the memories were so bitter.
And it was all caused by the man in front of her.
She coldly glanced at this well-fed man, and her emotions became even more unbalanced.
Today, when she learned that her elder sister was poisoned because she sucked the venom out for him, she was even more furious.
Tears came out of Alice's eyes.
Seeing this, Grace jumped down from the bed, walked to her, and held her hand.
"Alice!" She comforted her.
Alice cried out, "Sister!"
"I understand. Everything you said was for me! I understand..." Grace hugged her as she spoke.
The two of them hugged each other tightly.
Heinz and Jensen looked at each other in dismay.
They knew that they were close, but their relationship seemed too deep? Some might even mistake them as lovers.
They really didn't understand.
After a long period of time, Grace spoke in a choked voice. "Alice, I know how you feel. I know everything you're thinking of now, but please say no more, okay?"
"Sister, I..." Alice was cut off by a sob. "Is it really worth it? For such a man, he doesn't even know what you've sacrificed, is it really worth it?"
Grace was slightly startled. "Everything I did was of my own will."
Heinz's whole body shivered slightly when he heard this. His heart was a little moved, and his eyes were tightly locked on Grace's delicate little face.
He clearly saw her determination, and felt as though he had been struck by lightning.
It was thrilling.
He was thrilled by Grace Smith.
Jensen was also left dumbfounded for a moment.
