Heinz glanced at the business card and frowned. "Sonia? A woman who owns a boutique?"
"Yes." Grace nodded and said, "Sonia was my classmate in primary school."
"Primary school classmates?" Heinz was a little surprised.
"When I saw her going into the Smith family villa today, the guard said she was there to treat Marry's illness." Grace explained, "But how could she, the owner of a boutique store, treat Marry's illness?"
"Do you suspect that she has something to do with Simon?" Heinz finally understood her meaning.
Grace nodded. "That's right. I suspect that she has a relationship with Simon. The relationship between them must be quite deep."
Heinz looked at Grace with surprise.
Looking at how worried she was about a woman who had something to do with Simon, he felt uncomfortable.
"So what if she has something to do with Simon?" Heinz's brows furrowed. "So what if she is Simon's lover? Why are you so keen on investigating them?"
Grace was stunned, and she knew that Heinz was jealous when he spoke in a sour tone.
This man was really narrow- minded. She had already given birth to his child and had decided to be with him. Was she not sincere enough? Did he want her to continue to show her determination?
Were men really so narrow-minded?
She glanced at him, but was in no hurry to speak, instead taking up some dishes and putting them on his plate.
However, this action made Heinz's brows furrow.
In his eyes, she was clearly trying to please him and it didn't feel good.
Trying to please him was akin to putting up a guilty front.
If she didn't have anything on her mind, why should she please him?
Heinz took a deep breath and felt a tightness in his chest.
Looking at the dishes in front of him, Heinz raised his gaze and looked into Grace's thoughtful eyes.
She sat opposite him, sitting politely. She was calm and had a straight posture. Her figure was gentle and beautiful, like a tall and straight bamboo.
Heinz still looked at her silently as he waited for an answer.
Finally, Grace said, "I want to investigate Simon, not because of Simon himself. I just want to know his attitude towards Sunny Group."
Heinz didn't say a word.
Grace continued to explain, "He hasn't divorced Marry yet. It seems that he really wants to take over Sunny Group."
"What does this have to do with you?" Heinz felt that leaving the Smith family was a good choice for everyone. He had the Jones Estate. Couldn't he afford to raise his own woman and children?
In his opinion, he didn't really want to help Grace fight for her property.
However, since she mentioned it, he had to help her.
When he thought that they would be dealing with Simon, he felt angry.
Simon still had feelings for Grace.
"It has nothing to do with me." Grace said, "I just feel that there is something wrong with it."
"If there's something wrong, then let it be. You're my woman. His relationship with Marry has nothing to do with us. Can we just live our life?"
"Heinz." Grace looked at him and explained, "I have had no affection for Simon for a long time. You don't want me to check on him because you are worried that I have feelings for Simon, aren't you?"
Heinz was stunned, and his expression was a bit stiff. His silence was enough of an answer for her.
"We've been through so much, and you're still going to think this way?"
"It's not that I want to think about it," Heinz said in a deep voice, "He is your first love. Even though it's over, I still feel uncomfortable when I think about it."
"So, do you believe in me or not?" Grace asked in return.
"Of course I do."
"Then are you going to help me investigate it?" Grace looked at him, and her tone was raised a lot.
