"Heinz," Grace shouted in frustration.
"Yes." Heinz smiled and said, "Seems like you have agreed with my suggestion. Well, let's go back quickly."
"No." She grabbed his hand and stopped him from driving off quickly, "Listen to what I have to say."
"What do you have to say?" Heinz looked at her anxiously. "Is it because you can't wait anymore? You want to have a quickie right here?"
"Who wants to have a quickie with you?" Grace roared. "I'm not in the mood to joke around with you. I just want to tell you that I'll be visiting Southland with Alice this week."
"I'll go with you." Heinz immediately said, "We have companies in Southland as well. It'll also be convenient for us to find a place to stay there."
"If you go, who's going to take care of Ernest and Little Gary?" Grace said, "What I mean is, now that we have offended so many people, we should think about the safety of our children."
"Don't worry, I have hired a lot of bodyguards." Heinz also understood her concerns. "Relax. In the future, bodyguards will follow the children everywhere they go and they will not let anything happen to them."
"I know your arrangements will be the best for us." Grace glanced at him as she was still worried. "But think about it, although we are on high alert now, I'm afraid that we might have overlooked something important.¹' "Do you mean that you want to bring our children to Southland with us?" Heinz asked.
"Of course not." Grace shook her head. "What I mean is that you should stay in Northern City. Don't follow us there. If you go, I'm afraid that something will happen to our children and no one can attend to it."
"Nothing will happen." Heinz shook his head. "I'll arrange for the best bodyguards to take turns taking care of them. I'll also enhance the security measures."
Grace was still worried. "You've just seen how extreme Simon's parents could get. Simon is injured and laying in the hospital. He's a rather narcissistic person. Now that he has lost half of his ear, he will not be able to take it."
"Are you worried that he'll do things out of desperation?"
"Yeah."
This was something that Grace had to worry about.
Heinz thought for a moment and said, "As for Simon, I'll send someone to keep an eye on him. This way, we can confirm that nothing out of the ordinary would happen. We'll have double insurance."
"Why don't you understand what I'm saying?" Grace said, "Since Alice will be leaving with me, I can't rest assured that Little Gary and Ernest will be safe here. I just want you to protect them. I'm afraid that if anything happens again, I won't be able to take it."
"I understand what you said." Heinz said in a low voice, "But Grace, why do I feel that you are overthinking it? You just don't want me to go to Southland, do you?"
"Yes, I just don't want you to go to Southland," Grace answered in a deep voice. "I really don't want you to go at all."
Heinz parted his lips but couldn't say anything.
Grace said, "That's settled then. You'll stay here to protect our children. I'll be assured then."
Heinz gritted his teeth and rolled his eyes before saying, "Okay, you may go to Southland. I won't go with you. I will stay here to play the role of a father and a mother. I will assist and support you when you are away."
When she heard him, Grace smiled instantly, and her eyes shined brightly.
"Heinz, I knew that you would agree with me."
"Make it up to me. Let's have a quickie?"
"No." Grace's face reddened and she let go of him. "Start driving. It's time to go back to pick up our children. I still have to contact my cousin to discuss my journey."
Heinz was flustered as he gazed at her deeply for a long time before he sat up. Then, he set his gaze to the front, and started the car engine.
After they picked up the children, Grace informed them that she would be going to Southland during their meal.
As soon as Grace finished talking, Little Gary asked, "Mommy, are you going there by yourself?"
"No, I'm going with your Little Aunt to take your greatgrandma's ashes to Southland."
