"Grace, I know you care about me, but if it was you, you must also want to be alone."
Grace could not refute this.
It was true. After careful consideration, she still thought that Alice should have a good talk with Jensen.
Only the two of them would know what they needed.
After Grace stayed with Alice for a few hours, Alice said, "Grace, you should go back home. It's getting dark.
"I'll sleep first. Maybe Jensen will come find me tonight. I'll talk to him then."
"I need to be full of spirit so that I can talk clearly. I have to organize my own language and make things clear."
"Good!" Grace nodded and said, "You have to promise me that you won't do anything stupid, no matter what."
"Don't worry, I'm not that kind of person. Even if I'm sad, I won't do anything stupid."
"That's good." Grace then asked Alex to buy something to eat for Alice. After putting the phone down, she also left.
Alice had no appetite and she just wanted to go to sleep. She changed into her pajamas and went to sleep.
When she woke up, it was already one o'clock in the middle of the night.
She felt much better after waking up, but her eyes were still swollen. She quickly got up and washed her face. However, she felt a little hungry and was going to eat something.
As soon as she sat down at the dining table, she heard a knock on the door. Alice's heart suddenly froze. She suddenly realized that her mobile phone was still turned off.
The one knocking on the door could only be Jensen.
Alice quickly looked at the door and walked over, only to see Jensen standing there with a gloomy face in the peephole. He seemed to be very anxious.
When he saw movement through the hole, he immediately cast a sharp look and said in a low voice, "Open the door!"
Alice's heart tightened. She took a deep breath and opened the door.
Jensen's clothes were still wrinkled and his hair was very messy. Perhaps it was because of the hurry but his hair was hanging in front of his forehead and his eyes were burning like a torch. He looked extremely gloomy and fierce.
Alice's heart tightened. When she saw him, all her feelings surfaced in her eyes.
It was a little sour.
The two looked into each other's eyes, but Jensen did not speak.
His sharp eyes fell on Alice, who only wore a nightgown. When he saw the marks on her neck, there was a flame in his eyes.
Alice's fair skin made him so excited that he could not control his emotions.
He took a deep breath and walked in without saying a word.
As his tall figure pressed down on Alice, she could only take a step back subconsciously.
With a bang, the door was closed. Jensen said in a deep voice, "Why did you turn off the phone?"
Alice looked at him and did not speak for a long time. She just looked at him, with deep grievance and sadness in her eyes.
However, she felt that it was useless to tell Jensen about all that.
It was an instigation of the relationship between mother and son. She couldn't bring herself to stir up dissension.
Even if she mentioned it, she would only feel embarrassed.
After thinking about it carefully, Alice knew that she did not have the courage to stay with Jensen's mother for a lifetime.
She thought that a person could be fierce, but not unreasonable.
A person could be bad- tempered and argumentative, but they shouldn't humiliate others. Jensen's mother was clearly humiliating Alice.
"Why did you leave?" Jensen asked, one word at a time.
"Jensen!" Alice said with difficulty, "I'm sorry. After thinking about it, I still regret it. I can't be with you, so we'd better break up."
