"I believe you," Jensen also agreed. "Grace is not the kind of woman who is willing to hurt others."
In his mind, Grace was an ordinary woman.
"However, if I didn't expose Jodie, I would feel sorry for Grace," Heinz replied. "Jodie is so arrogant now, but the method that I want to use to expose her is not a good one. I would despise myself even more if I do that. I don't want to be a person who is despised by both Grace and myself."
Jensen felt shocked when he heard this.
Heinz would never say something like this.
Since he was able to say these words now, it seemed that he had really reflected on his actions.
Jensen nodded and comforted him, "Don't blame yourself too much. I also think that it's wrong to expose what Jodie did. This behavior is the same as their behavior."
Heinz looked up at him. "I really can't do such a thing."
Jensen then asked, "Then what about the USB flash drive?"
"I will keep it for now," Heinz replied. "I will just use it as a warning to Jodie. I just wanted you to know what had happened. Don't tell anyone else about it."
"Yes, leave her some dignity," Jensen nodded and agreed. "Although Jodie has become extremely evil, we can't do evil things like her."
Since he was a policeman, he must maintain his image and dignity. At the same time, he needed to remain calm so that he would not do such a thing.
Heinz took the USB flash drive and looked at his phone. "Make a call. Arrange for someone to check the man out."
"I'll do it right away." Jensen immediately called his men to check up on it. "I want to find out all the people called Henry who come from Alsburg. I'll text his detailed information to you. I want you to look it up right away."
"Yes!" Jensen's subordinate on the other side immediately went to check on the man.
After the arrangements were made, Jensen looked at Heinz and saw that he had no intention of leaving. "Are you going to wait for the results here?"
"Of course," Heinz agreed in a low voice. "I can't sleep or eat well without knowing the results."
Jensen naturally understood his feelings. "I understand what you're thinking."
Heinz went silent, clasping his hands as he thought about something.
"Let's wait for the results together." Jensen poured him a glass of water. "Have some water. You didn't eat anything today, did you?"
"I haven't eaten anything," Heinz replied. He didn't care about it either.
"I have instant noodles here. I'll make you a bowl." Jensen often worked overtime. Hence, he kept some instant noodles and some biscuits in his office, in case he would be hungry and had nothing to eat.
He took it out and boiled some hot water.
"I'm not hungry." Heinz shook his head.
"That won't do. You must have something. It's not good for your gallbladder and stomach." Jensen saw Heinz taking a few sips of water and asked, "You're not comfortable even when drinking water, right?"
Heinz nodded. His stomach was indeed uncomfortable. There was nothing in his stomach, and he felt even more uncomfortable after drinking water.
"Eat something." Jensen quickly prepared the instant noodles and handed them to him. "The problems will eventually be over."
Heinz took the instant noodles and finished it quietly.
Jensen called and continued to urge them for the results.
After having a few mouthfuls of noodles, Heinz paused and whispered, "I wonder how Grace is doing."
Then, he picked up the phone and called Hermione, hoping to inquire about the situation.
However, her phone was turned off.
Heinz paused in confusion. "Her phone is turned off."
"You mean Grace's phone?"
