Heinz squinted his eyes. "If you knew the situation earlier, you might not suffer such hardships."
Jodie pursed her lips and glanced at Aaron. She told Heinz, "Take him away. He shouldn’t be here."
"That's a piece of cake," Jensen said calmly. "Alex, take Aaron away and send him to the police station."
"Yes, sir."
Soon, Aaron was sent away.
"Now, you can say it," Heinz said unfeelingly.
"I have one more condition," she spoke again.
Heinz became serious and reprimanded heartlessly, "You have too many conditions. You can’t bring up anymore."
"Heinz, you have to protect me." She said awkwardly, "If you guys don't protect me, I will die after I talk."
Everyone was stunned by her words.
Grace examined her petrified expression. Grace thought that perhaps it was true.
Perhaps Jodie was afraid of something, so she was so scared.
Grace looked at Heinz.
He imperceptibly shook his head at her.
Jodie witnessed them fondly gazing at each other. Her eyes flickered with jealousy and envy. "You all might not believe me, but what else do I have now? Other than my own safety, I don't have anything else. You all released the video. I lost my dignity, so I can only cherish my life," she pointed out.
"Indeed, you don't have anything left," Alice chuckled and said in irony. "It's just that it's very odd that someone like you no longer has honor. What's the point of you being alive?"
After hearing her sarcasm, Jodie promptly erupted. She retorted, "You’ re really a busybody. Why is it always you? Do you have a heart?"
"You are the one with a poor mindset," Alice rebutted. "Who has a worse mindset than you? You are bullying my sister. Of course, I won't let you off so easily."
Jodie scanned Grace sharply immediately. "Grace, if you think it's okay, you can step forward. Don't let your sister, who is not sensible, step forward."
Grace realized that Jodie was really incisive.
Even now, she still wanted to make demands.
She calmly set her eyes on her and said, "Miss Lawson, we are one. If someone bullies my younger sister, I will stand up as well. As for what you have done, you should know. You obviously are not innocent, so you don't have to feel aggrieved now."
Jodie furrowed her brows and discovered that Grace was not as gentle as she thought. She looked at Heinz and said, "Heinz, is this the woman you are looking for? She is a trenchant woman. Did you see it? She has exposed her true colors."
Heinz didn't agree. "However she is, you don’t have to tell me. Jodie, you'd better size up the situation.
She curled her lips. She always had been proud and arrogant. However, now she had a sense of loss which couldn't be described.
She mocked herself and said with a bitter laugh, "Everyone cherishes their lives very much. What's wrong with me cherishing my own life?"
