Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 1069

Victor called security, thinking of kicking Amelia out of the office so that she wouldn't cause him any trouble.

The security personnel came pretty quickly. They were about to arrest her and take her away when Gideon broke the silence.

"Hold on," he said, making the security personnel stop.

Fearing that Amelia might tell on him, Victor forced a smile and said, "Mr. Everett, she might look pitiable, but you shouldn't take pity on her. She's putting on an act. She's actually a bitch who seduces men."

He continued, his voice full of scorn, "Her private life is a mess, and she even has a bastard child. No one knows who the father is. Someone like her doesn't deserve your sympathy. Don't waste your time on her."

A smile crept onto Gideon's face as he responded with two simple words, "Oh, really?"

His dashing smile made him even more handsome, leaving all the female employees in the office swooning over him.

Seeing how Gideon smiled, Victor smiled convincingly and nodded forcefully to persuade Gideon.

He said, "Yeah. Don't be fooled by her appearance—"

He stopped halfway through his sentence because Gideon walked past him to help Amelia up from the ground.

"Are you okay?" Gideon asked her, concerned.

"I'm fine," said Amelia with a nod. "Why are you here?"

"For business," he answered. "But now, it seems like I don't need to anymore. Let's head to the hospital to treat your swollen face."

His tone was gentle when he spoke to her. Instantly, Jeremiah and Victor had a sinking feeling in their hearts.

Amelia never thought that the important client Jeremiah mentioned in the group chat was, in fact, Gideon himself!

Meanwhile, Jeremiah and Victor never thought that Gideon knew Amelia. To make things worse, she and Gideon seemed to be close friends.
