Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 659

"Yeah. Why?" Hera was confused. She had personally looked for the coins and even boiled them in hot water to disinfect them.

Bernard paused before saying, "Is there any more pudding?"

"No. The pudding that had coins was served on the table. Do you still want some more?" Hera was shocked. Wasn't Bernard very full?

"Absolutely not," Bernard immediately rejected her. He did not want to eat pudding for the rest of the year.

"Then…" Hera suddenly understood why he asked. Bernard must have forced himself to finish all the pudding since he found no coins.

So, he really did want to find the last coin. But didn't he say earlier that they were being too superstitious? Bernard suddenly seemed more prideful than Gino.

"Are you hoping to find a coin too?" Hera deliberately asked.

"It's just a superstition. Who cares?" Bernard looked disdainful.

"I see. Why did you finish the pudding, then?" Hera used her hand to place slight pressure on his stomach.

Bernard almost felt like throwing up from the pressure on his stomach, so he quickly grabbed her hand. "I just didn't want to waste food."

Hera smiled as she never expected Bernard to have such a stubborn side. She got up and headed to the kitchen. There was a small dish of pudding made from the extra ingredients earlier.

After disinfecting a coin, Hera carved out the center of the pudding and placed it inside. She called Bernard into the dining room after some time.

Once he was seated, she placed a plate in front of him. "Here's a reward for not throwing a jealous tantrum today."

The white plate was filled with pudding. Hera had carved some watermelon into two rabbits and placed them on the pudding. It was an adorable sight.

Bernard felt his heart melting from Hera's gesture. He placed his hand against the back of her head and kissed her on the forehead.

Since he was still stuffed, he did not take a bite. But he knew that the pudding definitely had a coin.
