"Why did I fall asleep?" Hera's gaze was filled with confusion. Her neck ached as she moved, so she turned her head from side to side.
She then told Johnson, "Your chair sucks. It's too easy to get a stiff neck."
Johnson felt wronged but merely said, "I'll ask someone to buy a new chair."
"Let me help you massage it." Bernard felt slightly guilty and placed his hands on her shoulders. He then asked tentatively, "Do you remember anything?"
Hera pondered about it. Aside from the images of her playing with Bernard when they were children, she couldn't remember anything else. Did the hypnosis fail?
She shook her head. That made Bernard sigh in relief. "Are you hungry? Let's go and have dinner."
"Sure," Hera answered. She noticed that only Johnson remained in the clinic, and there was no sign of Felix. Hence, she asked Johnson, "Where's your tutor?"
"Something came up, so he had to leave first," Johnson replied.
Hera found it somewhat strange. While leaving the clinic, she kept feeling as if she had forgotten something, but nothing came to mind.
"What's on your mind?" Bernard helped fasten the seatbelt for Hera. Seeing how she seemed to be in a daze, he felt a little uneasy.
"Nothing." Hera came back to her senses. "What are we having? I'm starving."
"Hang on. We're almost there," Bernard said while driving.
Half an hour later, they arrived at the entrance to the amusement park that had gone viral online. Two bodyguards stood at the park entrance.
Many people were there, but they weren't permitted to enter.
"What's going on? We clearly booked our tickets ahead of time. How could they be canceled just like that?"
"We're so unlucky. It's our first date, but the place ended up being unavailable."
