Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 739

Seeing this, Chad turned and headed back to the car, not wanting Bernard to interrupt his conversation with Hera.

Neil opened the back door of the Rolls-Royce, but Hera shook her head. "Let's talk here."

Chad paused, glancing at Hera, then at Bernard.

"There's nothing here that he can't know," Hera added.

Chad realized their relationship was even better than he had anticipated and had no choice but to compromise.

"What will it take for you to stay with Killian Corporation? We can increase your salary or provide you with a higher ratio of the profit. As for the company's shares, I can offer them to you too if you stay," Chad said.

Chad had found out that the money in Gino's account was from Hera. Hera had instructed Gino to buy the shares and now held a significant amount of them. Perhaps her goal was to become a shareholder.

With the shares in her hands, she and Bernard would hold more shares than anyone else in the company once they married. Killian Corporation would essentially belong to them.

"Would you agree if I told you I wanted the Killian family to reveal the truth about Mr. Greg's death back then?" Hera asked calmly.

Chad was shocked. He thought she was after the company's shares.

"That case was closed 12 years ago. What's the point of bringing it up now?" Chad's expression turned stern.

Hera sneered, "The case may have been closed, but was the real culprit caught?"

Chad remained silent. Ever since Linda hired someone to kill Daphne, he had started to question the circumstances of Greg's death. He had arranged a meeting with Lucius. While Lucius didn't admit to being the killer, he said it didn't matter as long as the Killian family continued to prosper.

Killian Corporation was already in chaos. Bringing this case back up would only add to the turmoil.
