The next day, Hera and Margaret arrived on time for their appointment on the first floor of the Imperial Hotel. Their table was a four-seater beside the lobby.
After waiting for ten minutes, there was still no sign of Giselle.
"That's strange. Why isn't Ms. Killian here yet?" Margaret glanced at her watch. "Could she be held up in the traffic jam? She's not even responding to my messages on WhatsApp."
The two of them waited for another ten minutes. Since no one had shown up, Hera was about to leave when Giselle finally arrived.
She wore a light blue Chanel tweed suit, sunglasses, and four-inch high heels, which made her look very elegant. Camila followed behind, carrying Giselle's bag.
"The roads were rather congested. Sorry to keep you waiting," Giselle explained in Terranish. However, she didn't sound apologetic at all.
Camila, who had been following behind, helped pull out a chair for Giselle. After taking a seat, Giselle took off her sunglasses and placed them on the table.
She looked at Hera with a challenging glint in her eyes. "You guys don't mind, right?"
Hera gazed at Giselle nonchalantly, having realized that Giselle was clearly trying to provoke her. She wondered what happened between them in the past.
Seeing that Hera did not answer, Margaret hurriedly got up and extended a hand to Giselle with a smile.
"Of course not, Ms. Killian. Why would we be upset? Nice to meet you. I'm Margaret, Esther's assistant. This is Esther."
However, Giselle did not even look at Margaret as her gaze was fixed on Hera, who definitely lost her memories. She didn't even react to Giselle's open provocation while sitting in front of her.
