Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 857

Bernard pursed his lips and didn't respond. He seemed to be considering whether his feelings toward Hera were genuine.

Why was he being so clingy toward Hera, whom he merely slept with twice?

"If you ever meet someone who captures your interest, you should quickly pursue her. Don't be like me. If you must know, any woman who catches your eye must be very special!" Samson encouraged Bernard.

Samson silently thought to himself that Hera used to be the woman that Bernard loved the most. He wished he could say it aloud but dared not to do so.

If he knew that hiding a secret was so tough, Samson never would've agreed with Theo's decision to wipe out Bernard's memories of Hera.

However, that was the only way to save Bernard. Even up until now, Felix was against the idea of Bernard recovering memories of his past. His illness was merely suppressed for now. He had not fully recovered.

All Samson could do now was encourage Bernard to pursue Hera. He also hoped that once Bernard recovered his memories, he wouldn't have to suffer such a harsh punishment.

Once the private plane touched down at the destination, Bernard switched on his phone and connected to the internet. Hera still had not replied to his message.

Bernard was annoyed at her lack of response. His expression turned cold, his gaze filled with aloofness. He then deleted the message he sent to Hera before putting away his phone and getting off the plane.

Meanwhile, Hera was seated in the passenger seat when she received a message from an unsaved number.

"What are you busy with?"

Although she hadn't saved the number, Hera recognized the number as Bernard's, which he had forced her to remember. He didn't even want to give her five minutes to discuss official matters. What was he up to now?

Hera locked her phone and pretended as if she didn't see his text.

It was already evening by the time she and Vanta arrived at the villa. Dylan was working on his programming in the room. Meanwhile, Dora was wearing an AR headset and playing a fighting game in the living room.
