Bernard sat in the chair with his head lowered, watching the surveillance footage on his tablet. He saw how respectful the employees and secretaries were toward Hera, and his gaze darkened.
Why were these employees like Douglas? Why were they so polite to Hera? The heater in the office was working well. As Hera was still wearing a down jacket, she was sweating. So, she took it off.
At this time, Bernard just happened to turn around and saw her removing her jacket. She was only left with a white inner blouse. The tight shirt showed her curvy figure.
Bernard's gaze turned cold. In a cold voice, he said, "Why are you removing your clothes the moment you come in? Did you remove your clothes to make Theo give you an opportunity back then?"
If Theo hadn't convinced him, he wouldn't have met up with Vanta the last time.
Hera held her jacket in her arms. When she listened to his mocking words, she wasn't angry. Instead, a faint and nostalgic feeling welled up in her heart.
She had seen the way Bernard worked before, but he didn't used to be so cold. Once she saw how he acted after forgetting her, she realized how much he used to dote on her.
"Not everyone is as charming as you, wanting to take off their clothes on the first meeting." Hera suppressed her emotions. Without waiting for Bernard's invitation, she calmly walked over to the couch and put down her jacket and bag.
When Bernard saw how impolite and shameless she was, he said coldly, "What an alluring bitch."
"Do you like it, then?" Hera turned around and smirked. She was seductive.
Bernard was taken aback. Only Hera dared to act arrogantly in front of him.
"Let's get straight to the point." Then, Hera took out her laptop from her bag. She saw that there was a projector on the coffee table, so she connected her laptop to the projector.
The projector in the office was a product XS Corporation developed, which was protected by a password. It required a password to connect to it. As it wasn't suitable to be used in a company's meeting room, it wasn't put into production.
