Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 932

Bernard immediately returned to the Killian residence. When he entered Four Seasons, Adeline was already waiting in the living room.

"Where are they?" Bernard asked.

"They're in Dora's room. It's been three days, and they refuse to come out or eat anything. I'm worried they can't hold out much longer. Please go check on them," Adeline said.

Bernard headed upstairs with Adeline following closely behind. When they reached Dora's room, Adeline knocked. "Ms. Dora, Mr. Dylan, please open the door. Mr. Killian is back."

Inside the room, Dora, who was lying on the bed munching on the last pack of snacks, jerked up and quickly threw the remaining snacks into the bathroom. Upon smelling the lingering scent of snacks, Dylan closed his laptop and opened the window while spraying air freshener around the room.

After finishing this, Dora pretended to lie weakly on the bed and motioned for Dylan to open the door.

Dylan frowned when he saw only Bernard and Adeline. "Where's Mom?"

Bernard felt a stir of emotions seeing the kids. "She…"

"Mr. Handsome, you're finally back. Dyl and I would've starved to death if you hadn't come," Dora weakly said from the bed, unable to suppress a burp.

As soon as the door opened, Bernard smelled the scent of snacks in the room. He glanced at the open window and the food remnants around Dora's mouth, immediately understanding the situation.

Like mother, like daughter. The children were playing the same tricks Hera once did.

He recalled that Hera once went on a hunger strike as a child. She had wanted Lucius to take her to the river to learn how to swim, but he refused for safety reasons. So, she went on a hunger strike, which worried Daphne so much that she couldn't eat.

Hera ended up secretly eating so many snacks that she made herself sick.
