Jenny had been mumbling to herself for what seemed like forever when suddenly, a light bulb went off in her head. She slapped her thigh dramatically and exclaimed, "But if she didn't cheat on Finn, what about that recording you made?

Weren't you the one who exposed her in front of the entire Everly family? Does Finn know about this?"

Mentioning Finnian made Liliana bite her lip fiercely, her eyes reddened again.

Just earlier, Finnian had asked Amara to step out, wanting a private conversation with her. She had thought Finnian was about to say something sweet, and her heart had soared with hope.

But to her shock, Finnian had begun with, "I found out today that Amara and Keith aren't together, and as she said, she didn't have an affair like she’s claimed. What was that recording about?"

When she heard those words, a cold shiver ran down her spine, leaving her speechless with shock.

She tugged at her hair, desperately trying not to relive the unpleasant scene in the hospital room.

She poured out her explanation, and shed the river of tears.

She didn’t know whether Finnian believed her, but after she was done, he said, "You accused Amara of cheating on me in front of the entire Everly family, causing her emotional and reputational harm. You need to clear her name."

As Finnian addressed those words, his gaze was icy, his demeanor authoritative. Liliana didn't dare argue, nodding repeatedly before she left.

She had promised Finnian she would clear Amara's name, but how was she supposed to do that? Who was going to help her?
