Under the Veil I Rule novel Chapter 214

When Amara thought about it, she couldn't help but feel a bit troubled.

Once her belly started to show, Keith would definitely notice. And when that happened, Keith would probably be furious enough to go after Finnian. Just the thought of it gave her a headache.

Elysia went silent for a moment, and then decided to change the subject. After a few minutes of chatting about other things, she hung up the call.

Oh well, maybe it was best not to dwell on Amara and Keith's situation. If they were meant to be, they'd find a way. If not, well, sometimes life didn't give one a choice.

[By the way, I forgot to mention something.]

Amara's message popped up just as Elysia put her phone down.

[The crew's heading to a small island next week for filming. I'll be there for about three to five days, then back here for over a month to wrap things up.

After that, I might move to another city to have the baby. Maybe after two or three years, once the kid's a bit older, I'll return to Wye.]

Elysia was a bit surprised by Amara's plan to leave the city for a few years after filming Whispers of Winter.

But it made sense. In a few months, Amara's pregnancy would be noticeable, and she'd need to avoid the Everly family. A big belly would certainly raise questions.

"If you're moving away, what about the Sullivan family affairs?" Elysia asked, a thought suddenly occurring to her.

How long Larry could live was a mystery, and yet he seemed to be preparing to hand over control of the Sullivan Group. Amara would need to keep an eye on things to secure her rightful share of the inheritance.

[I won't quit considering the Sullivan Group’s matter. I've got someone to keep an eye on things, and I'll return if anything major comes up. I won't be too far away.]

The next day, Amara made a shopping list and shared it with her colleagues to make sure she wasn't forgetting any essentials. Once she was sure, she headed to the supermarket.

After gathering all she needed, she rested at home for the night. The following day, she dressed in comfortable clothes, grabbed her suitcase, and boarded the crew's shuttle bus.

The shuttle bus was large enough to fit dozens of people, mostly fellow actors and crew members like herself. The main stars wouldn't be sharing the same vehicle with them.

Liliana wasn't there, likely having someone drive her. Keith wasn't around either; he'd sent Amara a message in the morning saying he had an event and would join them later.

Apart from Keith, the only other person Amara knew in the crew was Lucian, but he was absent too. So, she found a window seat and settled in.

As she boarded, she felt people's eyes on her, likely whispering about her recent divorce. She chose to ignore them, planning to rest her eyes for a bit. But just as she started to drift off, the seat beside her sank slightly. The producer, Louis, spoke up, "Amara, mind if I join you? You’re already falling asleep? Had a late night?"
