Under the Veil I Rule novel Chapter 223

Amara stared at the text from Elysia, feeling equally speechless. Something about Elysia's words felt off.

As she pondered over it, two more people emerged from the hotel entrance—Finnian and Liliana.

Just as they stepped out, Keith happened to pass by, his pace brisk and an air of icy anger surrounding him. He looked like someone you didn't want to mess with.

Liliana watched him walk away, surprised. "What's up with him? He looks upset."

Before she could get an answer, they noticed Amara emerging from the grove.

Amara's lips were pressed tightly together, a clear sign of her annoyance. Liliana remembered that Amara and Keith had left the room together earlier. A knowing smile played on her lips as she remarked, "You think they had a spat?"

Finnian kept his gaze on Amara, his look intense, remaining silent. Suddenly, he strode over and blocked Amara's path. "What’s wrong? Did Keith hurt you?"

Amara halted. "No."

Earlier, she had texted Elysia, who had replied with some perplexing advice. Pocketing her phone, she had hurried to catch up with Keith, hoping to discuss the matter further.

But Keith blew up at her, calling her foolish for wanting to keep the baby. He said it was the stupidest thing she could do. This made her furious, and they shouted at each other. Keith stormed off, and after a brief pause, she followed suit.

Keith, once back at home, had collapsed onto the couch, his hand on his forehead in silence for a few minutes before texting Elysia.

Elysia's reply came quickly, [Ama's pregnant. She told me before, and I fully support her decision to keep the baby. In my view, a woman doesn't need a man, but having a child of her own is essential. Ama has her career and finances; she can manage well on her own.]

[As for your plans to pursue Ama, I thought you two were a good match and got excited. I completely forgot about her pregnancy and didn't mention it to you. Now that you know, it's up to you to decide what to do next. But I won't suggest Ama to terminate the pregnancy.]

Keith stared at Elysia's messages, stunned.
