Just as he was about to lose his temper, Liliana stepped in with a soft voice. "No need to be scared, Miss. We’re here to rescue Mr. Finnian Everly."

"Rescue?"

Liliana nodded firmly.

"You might recognize me, right? I'm set to be his future wife. Today, he was lured here by a woman. If we can't find him in time, things could get really serious, and your hotel might be held responsible. Please, quickly, give us his room number."

Liliana’s voice was low but commanding, enough to make the receptionist nervous. The latter took a careful look at Liliana. She did seem like that famous actress, and Hogan was indeed from the Everly family.

Oh, what the heck! She lifted her head and said, "They're in room 808. Here’s a spare key card."

Liliana snatched the key card and hurried off, with Hogan quickly following her.

They took the elevator up to the eighth floor, and as soon as they stepped out, they were hit by a wave of strong perfume.

Liliana turned to see a glamorous woman in a silver bodycon dress brushing past them. The woman didn’t look happy, muttering under her breath, "What's the point? If you didn't want to, why go through all this trouble? Ridiculous."

Mumbling to herself, the woman got into the elevator, pressed the close button, and disappeared from their sight.

Hogan was puzzled. "Why is she leaving?"

"Who?" Liliana paused. "You know her?"

"Yeah, that's the woman Finnian took with him earlier."

Hogan nodded, and then suddenly recalled what the woman had muttered. His face lit up with relief.
