Unrivaled Dragon Lord novel Chapter 26

The director turned around and glared coldly at Claudia. He was angry.

Why did Claudia arrest him? It was troublesome.

He could be fired because of Maxwell!

The director turned around and walked into the office.

"Sir...." Claudia followed the director. She was confused.

"Why did Beijing issue an order to release Maxwell? His resume says that he is an ordinary person," Claudia asked and crossed her arms over the chest.

"I don't know." The director's expression was sinister and cold. He was terrifying!

Claudia was astonished. The director had never been so furious.

"I don't care who he is. The City Hall called and said that I would be fired if I don't release him within five minutes. Claudia, if I were fired, how would you explain it to your father?"

The director turned around and looked at Claudia with a serious expression. He wasn't joking.

"I see." Claudia gritted her teeth. She didn't know the shameless bastard was so powerful.

The leader from Beijing ordered to release him. Who was he on earth?

Claudia was smart. She frowned and thought about it, but couldn’t figure out why.

Maxwell's identity was mysterious.

Claudia walked to the interrogation room and crossed her arms over the chest. She looked through the surveillance window on the door of the interrogation room.

In the interrogation room, Maxwell was lying on the bed unscrupulously and sleeping soundly. He didn't take this place as a heavily guarded interrogation room!

Claudia looked at this shameless bastard. She was furious. He had fallen asleep in such a short time. Was he taking this place as his home?

"Get up." Claudia's beautiful eyes were filled with disgust. She slapped the iron door a few times.

"What's wrong, Captain Claudia?" Maxwell got up and flattered with a smile.

"Hurry up and scram. I don't want to see you." Claudia's tone was cold and she felt disgusted.

"Captain Claudia, fifteen days aren't over yet," Maxwell smiled faintly.

"I've informed your wife. You got released on bail. You can leave now," Claudia said.

"My wife?" Maxwell was surprised. Greta was quick.

He had estimated that it would take a while before Greta arrived. But Greta was much faster than he had estimated.

Maxwell walked out of the interrogation room. Then he was brought to the entrance of the police station by Claudia. He saw two beautiful women sitting on benches in the corridor.

"Ms. Greta." Maxwell walked up to Greta and smiled embarrassedly.

Greta stood up and felt more disgusted when she saw Maxwell.

He was sloppier than before entering the police station. She smelled the smoke as if he had crawled out of a trench. Greta couldn’t help but cover her nose.

Claudia glanced at Greta and Harriet. They were not less slimmer than Claudia. She was shocked, looking at Maxwell and suspecting his identity.

How could an ordinary person know these two beautiful women. They even asked the police station to release him on bail. One of them was even the wife of this bastard.

Was he lucky or was there something wrong with the police files? Did he have another identity?

Claudia snorted coldly. Greta and Harriet had different temperaments, but they were both graceful. Claudia felt jealous.

"Greta, your husband fought with others. I'm surprised." Harriet stared meaningfully at Maxwell, held a cigarette and spat out the smoke.

"How can he injure someone? It's good that he wasn't killed. He was so weak. He always runs fast away from danger." Greta glanced at Maxwell and sneered.

Greta looked at him who always made things difficult for her. Her heart was filled with hatred. Whenever she was in danger, her husband would disappear. If she hadn't hired a bodyguard, she might have lost her life long ago.

Greta suspected her husband bullied the weak and feared the strong!

Maxwell followed Greta out of the police station and got in the Maybach. They started the engine and left.

...

It was in a private room of a five-star hotel in the Ocean City. Inside was luxurious decoration, soft carpets, and dim yellow diamond lamps. This presidential suite was generally available to those big shots in the Ocean City only.
