Her current irritable look was quite different from her previous silence. He took a look at her and asked, "When will your father come back?"
Kaliyah was taken by shock. "I have no idea. What's up?"
He looked outside the door. "No, I'd better leave before your father comes back."
She was walking to the kitchen. When she heard his words, she paused, holding the coffee jar that had just been half opened and murmuring, "Are you going to leave?"
He took his eyes back, stared at the jar in her hand for a while and finally asked, "Do you really want to make coffee for me?"
After thinking for a while, he waved his hand. "Forget it. I gotta go."
"Fine." Kaliyah replied, closed the jar, and took out two cans of Coca-Cola from the refrigerator. "Are you afraid of my dad?"
He put on a smile. "Who's not afraid of your father?"
"Victor's not afraid."
"Is he a normal person?" Samuel retorted as if he heard a joke. "Just now your aunt saw me as your boyfriend."
She said, "Awkward? This is your honor."
"Fuck off!" He pointed to himself. "If your father accidentally recognizes me as your boyfriend..."
He raised his hand, put it on his neck, and made an action of cutting his neck. "I'll be doomed."
After all, Kaliyah is Mahoney's precious daughter.
He lost his beloved wife. If his daughter fell in love after she grew up, he might be blown deeply for a long time.
Kaliyah handed the beverage to him. "You are still not worthy of being my boyfriend."
