Cordelia held Elijah's face and called him softly, "Elijah..."
"Cordelia," Elijah called her name with a pleasant voice.
He kissed her deeply as if he wanted to lead her into the clouds or pull her into the abyss together.
When Cordelia was pressed on the sofa, she realized that all the sufferings of Elijah before were faked.
In fact, he was well, and he had long been eager to do it.
"Cordie..." Elijah called her in her ear over and over again.
Cordelia's tears fell, and she didn't know if it was because she couldn't bear it or because she missed her grandma too much.
Half an hour later, they finished.
Elijah took good care of her, and he never let her work from the beginning to the end. Besides, he was careful all the time.
Wrapping Cordelia in a blanket and hugging her tightly, Elijah still called her over and over again in her ears, "Cordie..."
"Eli?" Cordelia suddenly looked at Elijah.
Elijah's whole body froze, and he said in embarrassment, "How do you know my nickname? Did my mother tell you?"
Cordelia chuckled and said, "You'll never guess it. It was Jacob's grandmother who told me."
When Jacob was mentioned, Elijah's expression was stern.
He paused and looked at Cordelia. "There is something I think I should let you know."
"What is it? Eli?" Cordelia blinked and smiled.
She had been pleased by Elijah just now, and she was in a very good mood now.
